The Musical Statues with Expression Activity was organized for the students of Std 1 and 2 in the school premises. The activity was conducted with the aim of developing confidence, creativity, listening skills, coordination, and emotional expression among the children. The students participated with great enthusiasm and excitement, making the event lively and enjoyable.
The activity began with the teachers explaining the rules of the game to the students. Cheerful music was played, and the children danced freely and happily around the activity area. They enjoyed moving to the rhythm of the music while interacting with their classmates in a fun and energetic manner. Whenever the music stopped suddenly, the students froze like statues in different poses. Along with standing still, they were also asked to show different facial expressions such as happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, excitement, and laughter.
The children displayed wonderful creativity and confidence while expressing their emotions through facial expressions and body language. Their joyful participation created a cheerful atmosphere throughout the activity. The students eagerly waited for the music to start again and enjoyed every moment of the game. Teachers encouraged the children to express themselves freely and appreciated their efforts and enthusiasm.
The activity proved to be highly beneficial for the students as it enhanced their concentration, quick response, self-expression, and social interaction skills. It also helped them understand emotions in an enjoyable and practical way. The Musical Statues with Expression Activity was a memorable and entertaining experience for all the students of Std 1 and 2. The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and participated actively with smiles and excitement.

The students of Class 8 enthusiastically participated in an exciting hands-on activity on Microgreen Cultivation using the Wick Method of Hydroponics. With great curiosity and teamwork, they created a simple yet innovative hydroponic setup using containers, water, cotton wicks, and seeds. The cotton wick acted as a bridge, continuously supplying water and nutrients to the seeds without the need for soil.
Over the next few days, students carefully observed the germination process and the healthy growth of vibrant microgreens. Through this activity, they explored how plants can grow successfully in a soilless environment and understood the importance of water, nutrients, sunlight, and proper care in plant development.
The activity also introduced students to the concept of sustainable farming and modern agricultural techniques that help conserve water and space. Watching the tiny seeds transform into fresh green plants filled the students with excitement and encouraged scientific curiosity.
This engaging experiment made learning practical, interactive, and enjoyable. It enhanced students’ observation, analytical, and teamwork skills while inspiring them to think creatively about eco-friendly farming methods and the future of agriculture.
