"Kaushal Se Udyam” – Empowers Students with Entrepreneurial Skills and Real World Learning
In alignment with the vision of **CBSE Kaushal Bodh**, Tagore International Senior Secondary School, Akbarpur Afghana organised “Kaushal Se Udyam – Young Entrepreneurs’ Mela”, providing students with a meaningful platform to transform their creativity, skills and ideas into real-world entrepreneurial experiences.
The event promoted *self-reliance, creativity, innovation and experiential learning through the philosophy of “Learning by Doing.”* Students actively participated in planning, designing, creating, presenting and marketing their products.
A variety of stalls featuring handcrafted items, organic products, food and refreshments, games and innovative creations were set up by the students. They took responsibility for product development, costing, pricing, branding, stall management, customer interaction, sales and basic financial transactions.
The activity helped students develop essential 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, leadership, financial literacy and time management. It also encouraged them to understand customer preferences, value creation and responsible spending.
The enthusiastic participation and support of parents and visitors added great energy to the event and boosted the confidence of our young entrepreneurs.
The event beautifully demonstrated that a skill combined with creativity, perseverance and opportunity can become a stepping stone towards entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
