Gurmat Sangeet Chair organised Gurmat Sangeetacharya Prof. Tara Singh Simarti Samaroh 2025 in which Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jagdeep Singh gave presidential address. Senior Prof. of Department of Music Dr. Nivedita Singh Vocalist delivered special lecture and students of Gurmat Sangeet Department presented a Shabad from Bani of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib composed by Prof. Tara Singh.
