๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Freedom is not only the right to live independently, but the responsibility to live purposefully.๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

The School, celebrated the Independence Day with immense pride, patriotic fervour and a deep sense of gratitude towards the heroes who shaped our nation's destiny.

The celebration began with the ceremonial Flag Hoisting by Managing Director Dr. Amritpal Singh Kaleka and Principal Dr. Parminder Kaur, followed by an impressive Guard of Honour by the NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers. The entire school fraternity joined in chorus for the National Anthem, filling the campus with patriotic spirit.

The cultural celebration commenced with a soulful School Shabad, followed by a powerful patriotic choreography honouring the Jawan and Kisan. The little stars of the Foundational Stage touched hearts with their beautiful thematic poetry, while students dressed as iconic freedom fighters brought the sacrifices of our national heroes vividly to life.

A special enactment, presented under the guidance of the Social Science Department, was one of the highlights of the celebration. Portraying Jawaharlal Nehru with his famous book The Discovery of India, the presentation took the audience through the lesser-known chapters of India's freedom struggle. It highlighted the remarkable contributions of Bhikaji Cama, Pritilata Waddedar, Rani Gaidinliu, Baji Raut and Usha Mehtaโ€”unsung heroes whose courage and sacrifices strengthened the nation's struggle for freedom.

In her inspiring address, Principal Dr. Parminder Kaur reminded students that freedom is not only about being free from external constraints, but also about liberating one's inner self. She urged them to get rid of unproductive choices, negative influences and habits that hold them back, and to embrace discipline, purpose and positive thinking.

The celebration concluded on a melodious patriotic note with Vande Mataram, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride, gratitude and responsibility towards the nation. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

๐ŸŒฑ Say YES to Life. Say NO to Addiction ๐ŸŒฑ

The School hosted an insightful Addiction-Free Awareness & National Pledge Programme under the 10-Crore Addiction-Free Pledge Mega Campaign, organised by the Medical Wing, Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation, represented by the Brahma Kumaris Centre, Patran.

The session was an eye-opener for our young learners as Brahma Kumari Arzoo engaged them in a meaningful conversation on the national vision of building an Addiction-Free, Healthy and Viksit Bharat. Through powerful real-life stories, she highlighted how peer pressure can gradually lead young minds towards addiction. She also drew attention to the growing concerns of screen addiction and online gaming, encouraging students to use technology mindfully.

๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ Brahma Kumari Ruhani added a beautiful spiritual touch to the programme by conducting a short meditation session and guiding students towards a simple practice that can become a part of their daily routine for greater calm, focus and self-control.

๐Ÿ“œ Brahma Kumari Vinita administered the Addiction-Free Pledge, inspiring students to make a conscious commitment towards a healthy and addiction-free life.

Principal Dr. Parminder Kaur expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the Foundation for this noble initiative and its efforts to empower young minds with awareness and positive life choices.

๐ŸŒฟ In a thoughtful gesture symbolising growth, responsibility and a greener future, saplings were presented to all the distinguished speakers.

Together, we pledge to nurture minds that are stronger than peer pressure, wiser than temptation and healthier by choice.
