The Old Students’ Association (OSA, GSSDGS Khalsa College, Patiala, organized an event titled “Reminiscence” on 27 April 2026. The event aimed to provide a platform for former students, who are now serving as employees of the college, to share their memories and relive their valuable experiences.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Punamdeep Singh, followed by an informative presentation on the OSA by Dr. Manju Mittal, Convenor, OSA. The Dean of the Old Students’ Association, Dr. Gurmeet Singh, then addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of alumni interactions and their role in strengthening institutional bonds.
A cultural segment followed, adding vibrancy to the event. The Dean and participants from the Music and English departments presented melodious songs, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. Several faculty members also shared their cherished college-time memories, making the session engaging and heartfelt.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Manju Mittal, Convenor, OSA, who expressed sincere gratitude to the entire team for their untiring efforts in making the programme a grand success.
The Principal, Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, appreciated the initiative and congratulated the OSA team. Deputy Principal Dr. Jasleen Kaur also graced the occasion and encouraged the participants to work with enthusiasm and dedication, as they possess the unique perspective of experiencing the institution both as students and as employees.
A total of 37 participants took part in the event, making it a memorable and successful gathering.

The Old Student Association, GSSDGS College, Patiala, in collaboration with the School of Commerce and Management, organized an interactive session today. The event featured Mr. Pranav Vohra, an MBA alumnus (MBA LD Session 2023–2025), who visited his alma mater and engaged with the students.
During the session, Mr. Vohra shared insights from his professional journey and discussed his industry experiences, providing valuable guidance to the students. He emphasized the importance of preparing oneself for the corporate world by developing relevant skills, maintaining a proactive attitude, and staying focused on career goals. He inspired the students to dream big and consistently work towards achieving their aspirations.
Adding further, Mr. Vohra advised, “Build your knowledge, but also work on communication and confidence. Every small step in your career adds value — stay committed to continuous improvement.”
Mr. Vohra expressed his happiness on returning to the college and fondly recalled his time as a student. He appreciated the institution’s growth and enjoyed interacting with the students and faculty members.
The session proved to be highly enriching and motivating for the students, offering them practical exposure and inspiration for their future careers.
