We are delighted to share that our NSS Volunteer, Simran Kaur, represented Government College for Girls, Patiala in the Capacity Building Programme on Entrepreneurship Development held from 29th October to 1st November 2025. 👏💼

The programme was organized by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Regional Centre, Chandigarh, and aimed at nurturing entrepreneurial skills, innovation, and leadership qualities among youth. 🚀🌿

Under the valuable guidance of our worthy Principal Sir, Dr. S. S. Rekhi, Simran Kaur actively participated in various training sessions and interactive modules designed to empower young minds with entrepreneurial vision and practical knowledge. ✨🙌

🛡️ Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 – Guest Lecture at GCG Patiala 🛡️

The Department of Political Science, Government College for Girls, Patiala, organized an insightful Guest Lecture on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 on 31st October 2025. The session was conducted under the valuable guidance of our worthy Principal Sir, Dr. S. S. Rekhi. ✨🎓

The college had the honour of hosting Mr. Daljit Ami, Director, Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC), Punjabi University, Patiala, as the Resource Person. He delivered an enlightening talk emphasizing the importance of transparency, integrity, and accountability in both personal and professional spheres. 💬🌿

Students actively participated in the interactive session and gained valuable insights into promoting ethical values and building a corruption-free society. 🙌

The students of Government College for Girls, Patiala participated with great enthusiasm in the Science Fair organized by M. M. Modi College, Patiala on 28th October 2025. Seven teams from our college showcased their innovative ideas and scientific spirit under various categories — Static Model, Working Model, and Poster Presentation. 🌿💡📊

ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ 27 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ 350ਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਹ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਮਾਤਾ ਗੁਜਰੀ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ, ਸਮਰਪਣ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। 🌸

🩸 Awareness Seminar on “Nasha Mukt Punjab” at Government College for Girls, Patiala 🩸

On 13th October 2025, the Red Ribbon Club of Government College for Girls, Patiala organized an informative and inspiring seminar on “Awareness on Nasha Mukt Punjab” under the able guidance of our respected Principal Sir, Dr. S. S. Rekhi. 🙌✨

The event aimed to spread awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to motivate the youth towards building a healthy and addiction-free society. 💪🌿

Along with the seminar, inter-departmental Poster Making and Slogan Writing Competitions were also organized, where students showcased their creativity and strong messages for a drug-free Punjab. 🎨🖌️

Under the esteemed guidance of our Principal, Prof. Rachna Bhardwaj, the Orientation Program was organized to introduce students to the rich heritage, academic environment, and dynamic campus life of Govt. College for Girls, Patiala.

During the session, students were formally introduced to the faculty members, made aware of important college norms and instructions, and familiarized with the various resources and opportunities available to them for holistic development.
