A proud and heartwarming moment for TSLAS!
Our students, Aenika Sharma, PhD Scholar, TSLAS, and Prina Jinda, B.A. Psychology (Hons.), recently represented TSLAS at the 35th National Academy of Psychology (NAoP) Convention held at IIM Shillong.
Through their research presentations, they brought forward thoughtful insights into important areas of psychology, from bystander intervention in Eve-teasing to understanding how Large Language Models can better support students. Their work reflects not only academic commitment, but also curiosity, compassion, and a sincere desire to contribute meaningfully to the field.

From misconceptions to meaningful understanding. 💙
This World Autism Awareness Day, BA Psychology (Sem 6) students at Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences engaged with Autism Spectrum Disorder through discussion, reflection, and experience-led activities.
Starting with myth-busting, followed by exercises on cognitive and affective empathy, and a “Telephone” drawing activity that revealed how easily messages transform across different perspectives.
A reminder that communication is not one-size-fits-all—and understanding begins with recognising that.
