Mechanical Engineering Department, TIET Patiala, has organized a certificate distribution event on 15th September 2025 (Monday) at 5:00 pm for the students qualified in JSW MG Motors CAEV Certificate course.

The Hon'ble Pro Vice-Chancellor of TIET, Prof. Ajay Batish had kindly agreed to grace the occasion and distributed the certificates.

This course is named as CAEV Course- Connected, Autonomous and Electric Vehicles. This course is offered to the students studying in Undergraduate (3rd Yr and 4th Yr of any stream). JSW MG Motors and TIET have jointly offered a non-credit certificate course. Course content consists of Basics about EV, ADAS technologies, Autonomous Vehicles, Image Processing, Connected Vehicle Tech. etc. The details of the course are as follows:

Engineers’ Conclave on 14th September (Sunday), 2025, was designed to strengthen alumni–faculty–student connections, showcase TIET along with Mechanical Engineering Department's excellence, and foster meaningful discussions on internships, placements of undergraduate (Mechanical, Mechatronics and Robotics & AI) and postgraduate students, and future collaborations.

Webinar on "Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering /Robotics & AI: Future of Industries" for Admission to BE in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Robotics & AI Program is scheduled on April 29 (Tuesday), 2025 at 5 pm. The speakers are Prof. Ajay Batish (Deputy Director), Prof. Tarun K. Bera (Head, Mechanical Engineering Department) and Prof. Ajayinder Singh Jawanda (Chief Industry Engagement Officer).
