A day filled with love, smiles, creativity, and gratitude! ❤️
Our little stars beautifully expressed their love for their mothers by participating in wonderful Mother’s Day activities. Students made handmade cards, photo frames, flower crafts, drawings, and many surprise gifts to make their mothers feel extra special. 🌷✨
The school campus was full of joy as children celebrated the unconditional love, care, and sacrifices of mothers through creative performances and art activities. 💐

🌟 Science in Action – Atmospheric Pressure Experiment 🌟
At St. Andrew’s Convent School, our Grade 5 students explored the fascinating concept of atmospheric pressure through a simple yet powerful experiment.
🔥 A burning candle was placed in a tray of water and covered with a glass. As the flame went out, something magical happened—the water level rose inside the glass, and the tray appeared to stick and lift along with it!
🧪 What’s the Science Behind It?
When the candle burns, it uses up the oxygen inside the glass. Once the flame goes out, the air pressure inside the glass decreases, creating a partial vacuum. The higher pressure outside pushes the water into the glass, demonstrating the power of atmospheric pressure.
🎯 Learning Outcome
✔ Hands-on understanding of air pressure
✔ Visual demonstration of vacuum formation
✔ Encouraging curiosity and scientific thinking
