The Senior Wing celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm, devotion and spiritual fervour. The celebration beautifully commemorated the birth of Lord Krishna, whose teachings inspire humanity to walk the path of righteousness, compassion and truth.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The auspicious occasion featured a vibrant blend of devotional songs, Krishna-themed presentations, dances and inspiring messages highlighting the significance of Krishna’s life and teachings. The students participated with great zeal, bringing alive the spirit of the festival through their talent and creativity.

The celebration concluded with a message encouraging students to imbibe the timeless values of love, kindness, courage and selfless action in their daily lives. The festive atmosphere filled the school with joy, devotion and positivity, making the occasion truly memorable.

The Kindergarten wing celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami with great joy, enthusiasm and devotion. The celebration introduced our little ones to the birth and teachings of Lord Krishna in a fun and engaging manner.

The tiny tots looked adorable dressed as little Radhas and Krishnas, adding colour and charm to the celebrations. The children participated enthusiastically in Krishna-themed dances, bhajans, role-play and creative activities. A special presentation depicting the life and childhood stories of Lord Krishna made the occasion even more meaningful.

Through these activities, the children learnt about the values of love, kindness, compassion and righteousness associated with Lord Krishna.

The vibrant celebration created beautiful memories for the young learners and made Janmashtami a joyful and enriching experience for everyone.

🌸 Janmashtami Celebration in the Primary Wing🌸

The Primary Wing celebrated the auspicious festival of Janmashtami with great devotion and joy. The celebration beautifully commemorated the birth of Lord Krishna, the epitome of love, wisdom, compassion, and righteousness.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by worthy Principal Madam, followed by a plethora of activities.

The young learners participated in a variety of engaging activities that brought the spirit of Janmashtami alive. Dressed as little Krishna and Radha, the students looked adorable and added a vibrant festive charm to the celebration. Through devotional songs, dances, stories, and creative activities, the children learnt about the significance of the festival and the timeless teachings of Lord Krishna.

We are delighted to share the remarkable achievement of Arnav of Class X-D, who won the Gold Medal at the 1st Open Friendship National Taekwondo Championship, held in Chandigarh on 29 & 30 August 2026.

With his outstanding performance, dedication, and sporting spirit, Arnav has been selected for the 16th International Friendship Taekwondo Championship, which is scheduled to be held in Melbourne, Australia.

His achievement is a testament to his hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.The SGHPS family extends heartfelt congratulations to Arnav and wish him continued success as he prepares to represent his talent at the international level.

An Inter House Mathematics Quiz was organised for the students of Classes IX & X with the objective of fostering mathematical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. The quiz provided an engaging platform for students to apply their mathematical concepts beyond the confines of the classroom.

The participants enthusiastically took part in various rounds that tested their conceptual understanding, mental ability, numerical skills, and quick thinking. The competitive spirit was clearly visible as students tackled challenging questions with confidence and precision.

The quiz not only enhanced the students’ interest in Mathematics but also encouraged teamwork, healthy competition, and effective decision-making. It was an enriching and enjoyable learning experience that demonstrated that Mathematics can be both challenging and exciting.

Moral values play a vital role in shaping the character and personality of school students. Education is not merely about academic excellence; it is equally about nurturing responsible, compassionate, honest, and respectful individuals who can contribute positively to society.
Schools provide an ideal environment for cultivating moral values through classroom interactions, activities, stories, assemblies, teamwork, and community-oriented initiatives.
One such initiative was taken by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji study circle to conduct Moral Values exam in schools. Our students too participated in this activity.
Teachers, being role models played an important role in the smooth conduct of the exam under the able guidance of our worthy Principal Madam.

A Rakhi Making Activity was organised in the school for the studentsof classes VI - VIII, providing them with an opportunity to celebrate the beautiful bond of love between brothers and sisters. The young learners showcased their creativity by designing colourful and attractive rakhis using ribbons, beads, decorative threads, sequins and other craft materials.

The activity encouraged imagination and creativity helping students understand the significance of Raksha Bandhan. The children participated with great joy and proudly displayed their handmade rakhis. It was a delightful and meaningful experience that filled the school environment with warmth, happiness and the spirit of togetherness.
