Let’s salute the Nation on this auspicious day.
Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at West Academy Sr.Sec. School. The school was decorated with tricolour saffron, white and green balloons and flags that welcomed the eyes of all to the function. The students came in proper school uniform.
The ceremony started at 8:30 AM in the school open ground with a large crowd of staff and students,
To commemorate the sovereignty of our Nation Director of our School, Mr Ravinder Yadav and his wife Mrs Surina Yadav With toppers of class 10th & 11th ( Palak Chauhan 10th
Minal, Abhishek vats11th) unfurled the tricolour flag and all in unison sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
After that, the students of UKG class presented a group dance and recited patriotic poems which mesmerized everyone's mind. The students of class III stunned everyone by illustrating yogasanas. The little students danced to the song of Yeh Desh Hai Veer Jawans and created such a tinge that the courtyard reverberated with thunderous applause. Atharva and Keshav, students of class VI, also recited poems full of patriotism After that, the students of class IX presented a Street play on corruption and took a pledge to make the country corruption free. In the end, the students of class XI, tying the thread of country unity, forced everyone to dance together to the song 'Mile Sur Mera Tumhara'.
