Department of English and Rotaract Club of Patan organized Blood Donation Camp at Department of English, Bhasha Bhavan, Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. Students, Faculties from various departments and citizens of Patan joined in this benevolent social act and helped S.K. Blood Bank, Patan collect 32 bottles of Blood. "It was a great experience to be with Rotaract and Department of English", said Dr. Shaikh of S.K. Blood Bank, Patan.

Students of Department of English visited the rich library of H.N.G.Universiry, Patan with great curiosity. They showed their interest in different sections of the library starting from Reference Room, Stack Room, Reading Room and the environment of the Library... HNGU English Department

After passing two years amidst literary environment at the Department of English, Sem: 4 students were given farewell by Sem: 2 students. Dear Students sang songs, perfomred dance, delivered speeches and watched PPTs prepared by Sem: 2 that had beautiful reminiscences of past 2 years. It was sorrowfully a happy departure...

Department of Language, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad visited the Department of Language, HNGU, today.

Dr. Darshna Jani, the head of the department of English, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad along with Dr. Nimavat and students of English Literature (MA Sem. 2&4) visited to our department and interacted with our students. In her address to our students, Dr. Darshnaben said that she was happy meeting them and said that she would like to take a session on Literary Theory in future. It was a great interaction between students of both the universities.

Department of English, H.N.G.U., Patan celebrated World Mother Tongue Day on 21st February, 2019. Students of the department presented their views on the 'Importance of Mother Tongue' and also debated on 'whether the fundamental education of a child should be in Mother Tongue or in English medium'. Students did present their views very effectively making the celebration live.

Department of English celebrated 150th Gandhi Jayanti on 28th September, 2018. Students made posters on Cleanliness Awareness, wrote essays on Contemporary Relevance of Gandhiji's views on Cleanliness and performed a drama on Gandhi's life... It was a great journey from Mahatma's birth to his death...

The Teacher's Day Celebrated at the Department of English. Students participated with utmost zeal and enthusiasm... They were inspired to be good teacher's in future by Dr. Hetal Madam and Dr. Tapas Sir. It was truly a fruitful celebration...

Bhasha Bhavan (Deptt. of English & Deptt. of Sanskrit), HNGU, Patan organized tree plantation in memory of Late Shri Atalbihari Vajpayee. We contributed a little to the Mother Nature in memory of the one who contributed a lot to the Mother Land.
