The 76th Republic Day festivities at Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan, Pasighat (Talom Rukbo Nagar), were marked by the esteemed presence of Shri Bodong Yirang, Former Director of Elementary Education, Arunachal Pradesh, and President of Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti, as the chief guest. The event was further graced by the participation of Shri R.P. Sharma, Smt. Oder Gao (Joint Secretary of SMC, Matri Bharati Coordinator of Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti), Smt. Osi Ering Koyu (Joint Secretary of SMC) and Smt. Obul Rome (Member of SMC).

Parents and guardians gathered to witness the students' impressive March past, along with their patriotic drama, song, and dance performances. Shri Bodong Yirang's speech emphasized the themes of unity and progress, fostering a sense of national pride and a commitment to educational excellence.

The celebration also included the distribution of prizes for the annual sports meet, adding to the day's spirited atmosphere. The event was a resounding success, reflecting the dedication and enthusiasm of the students, staff, and community members.

Today, Shri Bodong Yirang, President of Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti, visited Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan, Pasighat, inspiring the school community with his presence.

He began the day by participating in the morning vandana, emphasizing discipline and devotion, and later interacted warmly with students, especially those preparing for board exams. During a session with Class X students, he encouraged focus, confidence, and perseverance, leaving a lasting impression.
