Doon Public School hosted “Colours of Life” – Inter-School Group Dance Competition, where talented young performers brought alive the many shades of hope, courage, joy, resilience, compassion and unity through expressive choreography and captivating performances.

We were honoured to have renowned Bharatanatyam artiste Ms Smaraneeka Majumder as the esteemed judge for the competition.

MIND-O-PEDIA 2026 | Where Knowledge Meets Quick Thinking!

Doon Public School proudly hosted Mind-o-Pedia 2026, an exciting Inter-School General Knowledge Quiz Competition on 31st July 2026.

From the preliminary Google Form round to the thrilling Rapid Fire and subsequent rounds, young quizzers impressed everyone with their knowledge, presence of mind, teamwork and competitive spirit. The event was filled with enthusiasm, healthy rivalry and intellectual curiosity from start to finish.

Guess what’s hiding behind the question mark?

Our little Doonites had a fruity adventure with “Peek-a-Boo Fruits”, a fun-filled activity designed to help children identify and name different fruits.

As each hidden fruit was revealed, the children excitedly guessed, recognised and named it.

The activity made learning joyful while building vocabulary, improving recognition skills and helping children understand that fruits keep us strong and healthy.

It was sunshine, smiles and happiness all around as our little Doonites celebrated Yellow Colour Day!

Dressed in cheerful shades of yellow, our young learners brightened the day with their enthusiasm and adorable smiles.

From colouring their little yellow ducks to discovering, collecting and sharing different yellow objects, every activity turned learning into a joyful experience.

Through creativity and exploration, children strengthened their colour recognition, fine motor skills and observation skills while connecting the colour yellow with the world around them.

A bright and beautiful day filled with learning, laughter and little moments of joy!

Our little Doonites had a refreshing and joyful Watermelon Day, filled with colours, creativity and lots of smiles!

From enjoying a delightful puppet show and singing a cheerful watermelon rhyme to discovering its colours and seeds, every activity brought learning to life.

Little hands got busy with handprint art, paper pasting and clay modelling, strengthening fine motor skills while encouraging creativity and exploration.

A day full of learning, creating and happy little moments!

As part of Geetanjali Fest 2026, Doon Public School hosted Pratibha – The Garden of Talents, an Inter-School Talent Show for Children with Special Needs (CWSN).

Through dance, singing, music, storytelling and mimicry, the young participants beautifully showcased their creativity, confidence and unique abilities.

The event concluded with the felicitation of every participant with a certificate and memento.

Pratibha was a heartwarming celebration of inclusion and a reminder that every child has a unique talent worth celebrating.
