At JBCN International, we aim to provide learners with 360 degree learning, where the academic learning is complemented by infrastructure, a strong co –curricular program which includes sports, theatre and creative art, leadership opportunities in different fields and assessment that truly serves as feedback of learning rather than just testing. The events and special days at JBCN enhance the skills that the learners are introduced to in the their classrooms, music, dance, art rooms and the sports field. The celebrations give them a chance to explore and excel in different fields and activities. Some years we have a theatre carnival – which uses the available spaces to showcase theatre going beyond a conventional auditorium; Jamboree – which allows learners to explore a myriad activities and many more. At JBCN, the belief is that learning is continuous and life long – whether for board members, teachers or learners.

Meet Andrew Teron, our Middle School Coordinator. With experience as Housemaster and Head of Science at Harrow School Bengaluru and a long association with the UWC movement, Andrew brings a strong academic foundation and a global perspective to his role.

His vision for Grades VI to VIII is built around three pillars: academic rigour, meaningful leadership opportunities and sport. More importantly, he wants these years to give learners the freedom to explore their interests, embrace opportunities beyond the classroom and discover what they are capable of.

Stories came alive at Literary Week!
Our Pre-Primary learners spent four days discovering the magic of books, language and storytelling. From exploring the David Sassoon Library and Crossword to enjoying Read Alouds, Drop Everything and Read, GO-RO Fest and Hindi Divas, every experience opened up a new world to discover.
And what better way to wrap up the week than by stepping into the shoes of their favourite story characters? Our little readers arrived dressed as beloved characters, bringing their favourite books to life.
A week of imagination, discovery and happy reading, planting the seeds of a lifelong love for books.

Food detectives at work!

Our Grade IV learners got curious about what really goes into their food through The Whole Truth’s FBI (Food Bureau of Investigation) programme.

From decoding food labels and spotting misleading marketing to sorting ingredients and making healthier choices, the session made food literacy fun, hands-on and meaningful.

From a curious learner to a future biomedical scientist, Hetvi Parikh's journey at JBCN was shaped by leadership, research, and the courage to step beyond her comfort zone.

As Vice President of the A Level Learner Council, a TEDx speaker, and a budding researcher with internships and published research experience, she discovered her passion for biotechnology. With six university offers, she now heads to Cardiff University to pursue Biomedical Sciences. We wish her every success as she begins this exciting new chapter.
