The celebrations give them a chance to explore and excel in different fields and activities. Some years we have a theatre carnival – which uses the available spaces to showcase theatre going beyond a conventional auditorium; Jamboree – which allows learners to explore a myriad activities and many more. At JBCN, the belief is that learning is continuous and life long – whether for board members, teachers or learners.

What happens when we look at the same thing, but see something entirely different? Our DP1 learners began their Theory of Knowledge (TOK) journey by exploring the idea of perspective through art.

Starting with the same artwork, they were invited to extend it beyond its original boundaries, drawing on their own experiences, emotions, beliefs and imagination. The results were as varied as the lenses through which they viewed the world.

The activity became a powerful exploration of how what we know and how we know it shape what we see, understand, and create.
One artwork. Many interpretations. Because there is rarely just one way to make sense of the world.

A remarkable milestone for a remarkable cohort as we celebrate an outstanding Cambridge IGCSE performance by the Class of 2026, with every learner earning the qualification and 66% of all grades awarded at A or A*.
The cohort also recorded an impressive 98% Distinction/Merit in the Cambridge ICE Award, with 91% of all grades awarded at A, A or B*.
Behind every result is a journey of curiosity, perseverance and years of learning, shaped by our learners, teachers, mentors and families.

When a great mind enters the classroom, curiosity follows. We witnessed this in real time when acclaimed author Amish Tripathi came over for an engaging session with our Grade VIII learners on the Importance of reading in the world of AI.

From exploring why reading matters in an increasingly AI-driven world to introducing his latest children’s book, _Dhruv & Tara & The Great Indian History Quiz_, the session was an invitation to read more deeply, think more widely, and stay curious.

Because even in a world powered by AI, the imagination still begins with a book.
