Isha Sharvani in Vikram's Next!

Isha Sharvani, who is currently in the news for her dance number in Maatran, is doing another film with a Kollywood connect! Well, she’s been signed on for Vikram’s upcoming Bollywood project that is directed by Bejoy Nambiar of Shaitan fame. Interestingly, the Kisna actress will also be seen in Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam.

When we contacted Bejoy, he said, “Yes, Isha has been signed on to do a role in the film, which will go on floors at the end of the month.” With Isha and actress Tabu playing roles, will the film shape up as a triangular love story? “Well, it’s too early to comment on that,” he added, “I wouldn’t want people to speculate about the project as an official announcement will be made in the near future.

Tabu in Vikram’s Bollywood flick!

The actress will play an important role in his next Bollywood film with Bejoy Nambiar

Tabu, who is known to be very selective about her roles in films, has been signed by Bejoy Nambiar for his next venture, David. This will be Bejoy’s second film after his successful directorial debut with Shaitaan. Interestingly, this film will star Vikram, who had previously told CT that he’d soon be teaming up with Bejoy. When contacted, Nambiar confirmed that Tabu will indeed play a pivotal role in his film. “She is so important in the film.

All I can say is that she plays a very quirky character,” he says. A source revealed that David is a gangster film, which goes on floors by the end of the month. Tabu remained unavailable for comment. The film will mark Vikram’s entry into Bollywood after Raavan, in which he played the cop’s role. The actor had mentioned that though several Bollywood offers had come his way post his outing in the Mani Ratnam film, he had stuck on to doing Tamil films.

The star, whose last release was Suseenthiran’s Rajapattai, is currently busy with the shooting of Vijay’s Thandavam.

The shooting of Thandavam has begun! The film is directed by AL Vijay and has Vikram and Anushka, as the lead pair with Jagapathi Babu and Nasser in important roles. The shooting started rolling in Delhi and will go on for the next 22 days. After the Delhi schedule is wrapped up, the team will leave for the US.

Some important scenes are being shot near the Jama Masjid and these scenes will be very vital for the film. Further, it is after a long time that a Tamil film is being shot in this area.

Thandavam, an action-thriller, is produced by UTV Motion Pictures with music by GV Prakash.
