"Horizon proudly welcomes our guest speaker for AAROHAN 3.0, Mr. Manas Pratim Bora, Manager : Leadership and Diversity at Tata Consultancy Services. We are looking forward to hearing his insights on the HR Domain.

Mr. Manas has done his PGDHRM from IIM, Ranchi. With over 15 years of work experience in the HR field in organizations like TCS and clients Citi Bank, British Telecom, etc. His current portfolio is extended to HR Analytics, Research, awards & accreditation, and data privacy. During his 15 years tenure he gained exposure to training and development, change management, resource management, workforce planning, etc.

Apart from that, he is a Certified Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and holds various other certifications like Labor Law (GOI), People Analytics (TCS), etc. His vast experience in leadership will help students gain more insights into the HR Domain and MBA.

Organisational & Management factors:
Many organizational and management factors influence an individual's job satisfaction and decision to stay with or leave their employers.
Organizations with established goals and holding managers and employees accountable for accomplishing results are viewed as better places to work. Further effective management provides the resources necessary for employees to perform their jobs well.

Employee supervisor relationships:
Work relationships that affect employee retention include management support and coworker retention.
Supervisor builds positive relationships and aid retention by being fair, allowing flexibility giving feedback that recognizes performance, and supporting career planning and development.

Job security and work-life balance:
Many individuals have experienced a decline in job security during the past several decades. The downsizings, layoffs, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational restructuring have affected employee commitment, loyalty, and retention. As coworkers encounter and cope with layoffs and job reductions, the anxiety levels of the remaining employees rise.
