1st Sensitization Workshop Successfully Organized at PRIC GDC Sarahan

The 1st Sensitization Workshop was successfully organized on 20 August 2026 at the Pre-Rural Incubation Centre, Government College Sarahan, District Sirmaur (H.P.) under the RAMP Scheme, a joint initiative of the Government of India and the World Bank, in collaboration with the Department of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh, through HPCED. The programme was implemented by The Planet Education Society.

The workshop focused on promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment among rural youth, with over 110 students actively participating.

The programme was graced by Dr. Gulshan Dhiman, Sr. Prof. Rajan Kaushal, Prof. Jeena Gupta, Principal, Govt. College Sarahan, Mr. Jitender Aatri, EO DIC Sirmaur, Mr. Nishikant, Employment Office Sarahan, Mr. Harsh Kumar, Assistant Manager, Mr. Mam Raj, Secretary, and Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Coordinator, The Planet Education Society, along with college staff.

80th Independence Day Celebrated at The Planet Group of Institutions, Paonta Sahib 🇮🇳✨

The Planet Group of Institutions, C/o The Planet Education Society, Paonta Sahib, celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The celebration included flag hoisting, the National Anthem, cultural performances, and Certificate & Prize Distribution. A Career Guidance & Counselling Session was also conducted for students, covering NEP 2020, skill development, career opportunities and entrepreneurship.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma Ji, Chairman & Managing Director, whose vision continues to inspire the institution towards skill development, quality education and better career opportunities for students.

We sincerely thank Chief Guest Shri Madan Mohan Sharma Ji, all dignitaries, students, staff members and everyone who joined us and made the celebration memorable. 🙏

Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) session on Business Model Canvas (BMC) organized at the Pre-Rural Incubation Centre, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering & Technology (ABVGIET), Gumma.Under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) Scheme collaboration of Government of India and World Bank, with dept. Of industry Himachal Pradesh Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (HPCED) as the nodal agency. The programme was conducted by The Planet Education Society, the implementing agency.
More than 100 participants attended the session.
The session was delivered by Mr. Mangat Chauhan, who is actively working in the field of entrepreneurship and skill development and has been involved in training and mentoring youth for self-employment and enterprise development. He explained the nine building blocks of the Business Model Canvas with practical examples and guided participants on how business ideas can be converted into structured business models.
During the programme, Mr. Shishupal Chauhan from The Planet Education Society also addressed the participants and motivated them to take advantage of such programmes and government schemes for starting their own ventures .
The programme concluded with an interactive discussion where participants shared their business ideas and received guidance from the resource persons.
