1st Sensitization Workshop Successfully Organized at PRIC Raja Virbhadra Singh Govt. College Seema (Rohru), Distt. Shimla (HP)

The 1st Sensitization Workshop was successfully organized on 18 Sep 2026 at the Pre-Rural Incubation Centre, Raja Virbhadra Singh Govt. College Seema (Rohru), District Shimla (H.P.) under the RAMP Scheme, a joint initiative of the Government of India and the World Bank, in collaboration with the Department of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh, through HPCED. The programme was implemented by The Planet Education Society.

The workshop focused on promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment among rural youth, with more than 130 students and over 20 staff members, totaling more than 150 participants actively participating.

The programme was graced by Dr. Anil Chauhan, Officiating Principal, Govt. College Seema (Rohru), Dr. Umesh Narta, Professor & Nodal Officer, Govt. College Seema (Rohru), Mr. Punit Jhamta, Technical Resource Person, Mr. Harsh Kumar, Assistant Manager, and Mr. Mam Raj, Secretary, The Planet Education Society, along with the college staff and students.

A special session was conducted by Ms. Manisha Sangta, Founder of MAVCLO, a local fashion startup, who shared her entrepreneurial journey and inspired students to explore entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities.

The workshop provided valuable insights into entrepreneurship, local business opportunities, government schemes and available institutional support, encouraging rural youth to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and explore self-employment opportunities.

*2nd Sensitization Workshop Successfully Organized at PRIC Govt. ITI Theog Distt Shimla (HP)*

The *2nd Sensitization Workshop was successfully organized on 17 Sep 2026* at the Pre-Rural Incubation Centre, *Government ITI Theog, District Shimla (H.P.)* under the RAMP Scheme, a joint initiative of the Government of India and the World Bank, in collaboration with the Department of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh, through HPCED. The programme was implemented by The Planet Education Society.

The workshop focused on promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment among rural youth, with over 90 students actively participating.

The programme was graced by Mr. Surender Sharma EO DIC Theog, Mrs.Nitika Kumari Instructor, Mr. Ram Lal lnstructor & Nodal officer, Mr Meen Chand Instructor, Govt.
