The Millennium School - Panipat

Students of class 4C presented a special assembly to celebrate Dussehra. They performed a skit showing Sita Haran. They also recited about the significance of the festival. The assembly came to an end with melodious bhajan, dance and a poem.
The assembly was addressed by the Headmistress Ms Mitu Bedi.

Dusshera Celecration

Dussehra or Vijayadashami is one of the most celebrated and joyous Hindu festivals in India. It falls immediately after Navratri, a nine-day long festival observed in the honour of the goddess Durga and twenty days prior to Diwali, the festival of lights. The day marks the victory of good over evil, in which Ravana, the King of Lanka, is slayed by Lord Ram, the King of Ayodhya. The children of LM celebrated Dusshera in school today

We're thrilled to share the highlights of our spectacular Dusshera celebration at The Millennium School on October 20th, 2023. 🏫✨ The talented students of class IX stole the show with their captivating role play, brain-teasing quiz, mesmerizing dance, soulful song, and much more! 🎭🎶💃

A heartfelt shoutout to all the participants and dedicated teachers who made this event a roaring success! Their boundless enthusiasm truly made the day special. 🌟 Everyone had a fantastic time, immersing themselves in the festive spirit.

Special thanks to Coordinator Ms. Pushpa Sharma, whose inspiring message encouraged us all to embrace the principles of Lord Rama and eradicate the evils within us. 🙏 Let's carry these teachings forward as we continue our journey together.

*Navratri Celebration MLS II *

Each year, on each day of Navratri, an incarnation of “Goddess Durga” is worshipped to celebrate the day of her victory over Mahishasura, and the ultimate victory of 'Good over Evil.”

Navratri celebration was done in school premises on 19 October 2023 with great pomp and show. It commenced with the Principal lighting the Diya for Maa Durga aarti. It was followed by a marvellous performance by the students of MLS 2. The Headmistress, facilitators and students played dandiya
enthusiastically dressed in traditional clothing.

The students & teachers of MLS 1 felt privileged to be a part of Special Navratri Assembly.
Wherein students beautifully presented the nine faces of Maa Durga.
The children presented a marvelous skit which showed the popular Mahishasur Mardan.

The Divine Lord Ram chanted the Mahishasur Mardini Stotram to seek the Divine Mother's support before his battle with the demon king Ravan. Chanting it gives the strength and courage to face enemies and to get victory.

It was followed by a mesmerizing dance performance and address by the Principal.

Class assembly by IC

The nine blessings of Maa Durga—fame, name, wealth, prosperity, happiness, education, health, power, and commitment—may be bestowed on everyone. Children of IC conducted Class assembly on topic Navratri today in school.

Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do. Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children.
TMS Panipat witnessed the grand celebration of Grandparents Day where the grandparents of our millenniumites participated enthusiastically in ramp walk and performed with zeal.
They recalled their moments of joy with their grandchildren.
Hats off to their high spirits in their second innings of life.
