My Educational Journey: A Story of Persistence
Life is not always easy. Everyone faces ups and downs, and I am no exception. My educational journey has been filled with challenges, failures, and setbacks. However, I never allowed failure to define my future.
During my school years, I experienced failure several times. Instead of giving up, I worked harder and successfully completed my schooling. I then joined college, where I again faced difficulties and disappointments. Determined to succeed, I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) from Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU).
After graduation, I pursued PGDCA from Kurukshetra University (K*K). Despite many obstacles, I completed the course successfully. Encouraged by this achievement, I enrolled in Bachelor of Library Science (B.Lib.Sc.) at K*K and completed it as well.
After a long break from education, during which we established our own school, I decided to continue my academic journey. I enrolled in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from Jammu University. It was one of the most challenging phases of my life, but I persevered and completed the degree successfully.
To further enhance my qualifications, I took lateral entry admission into M.Sc. (Information Technology) at Punjab Technical University based on my PGDCA qualification and completed it in one year. I then pursued Master of Computer Applications (MCA) through lateral entry and earned that degree as well.
Meanwhile, we established our B.Ed. College. To meet the eligibility requirements for teacher educators and to improve my academic profile, I continued studying. I completed M.A. (Education) from CDLU Sirsa, followed by Master of Library Science (M.Lib.Sc.).
My passion for learning did not stop there. I completed M.Phil. from DBHPS University, Madras (an Institution of National Importance) and later earned my Ph.D. in Education from the same university. After that, I pursued M.A. in Public Administration. Most recently, I completed M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
This has been my educational journey—a journey built on determination, perseverance, and continuous learning.
I do not consider myself an extraordinary educator or an exceptionally intelligent person. However, I firmly believe that continuous learning is the key to success.
My humble advice to all students, teachers, and friends is this:
Never stop improving your knowledge and skills. Failure is not the end of the journey—it is a stepping stone to success. If you continue to learn, work hard, and believe in yourself, success will surely follow.
Remember: Degrees may open doors, but knowledge, skills, and perseverance create lasting success.
