An old man is selling watermelons.
His pricelist reads: 1 for $3, 3 for $10

A young man stops by and asks to buy one watermelon.
"That'd be 3 dollars", says the old man.

The young man then buys another one, and another one, paying $3 for each.

As the young man is walking away, he turns around, grins, and says, "Hey old man, do you realize I just bought three watermelons for only $9? Maybe business is not your thing."

The old man smiles and mumbles to himself, "People are funny. Every time they buy three watermelons instead of one, yet they keep trying to teach me how to do business..."

Whats the moral of this story ?

So it is wise to not add people of same niche and add people who are potential buyers of your products and services....

The online business space is getting so crowded that now we trust a person more than a company.

If you as the CEO / founder of the company not going out and educating/helping your audience, then I'm sorry to say but your startup will be thrown away from the market without any competition.

We are getting back to the basics.

We used to buy from our local shop because we had trust in the person sitting in the shop.

But now as the brands are going global, companies are trying to build the same trust in their customers all around the world by branding the leader.

What comes to your mind when you hear

1. Tesla/SpaceX - Elon Musk

2. Microsoft - Satya Nadela / Bill gates

3. TATA - Ratan Tata

4. BJP - Modi (National)

5. India - Modi (International) πŸ˜…

and there are hundreds and thousands of such examples.

Question: Are you working on building your personal brand? Authority in your Niche?

People connect with people, become the face of your company. Tell your audience how you are here to help them.

πŸ€”β€œI don’t have money to start a business.”

β€œ My English is poor, and people will make fun of me.”

β€œ I don’t have a mentor.”

And the list continues…

People who complain are unlikely to succeed.

And I am saying this because I have seen people who didn’t have enough resources scoring big.

One such example is Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the founder of PayTm. πŸ˜‡

He belonged to a low-income family.

He also had an English complex.

He wanted to go to Silicon Valley, but couldn’t.

Later, he struggled to raise funding for One97, the parent company of PayTM.

And today, his net worth is 240 crores USD.

I have immense respect for him He fought back and succeeded

The common trait of successful people is that they never give up.

So whenever you feel like giving up, don’t.

You can probably be the next big entrepreneur. πŸ₯°
