CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Life Skills (Advanced)

A CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Life Skills (Advanced) was conducted on 6 June 2026 at SD International School. The workshop was facilitated by the distinguished resource persons Ms. Manisha Walia and Ms. Manisha.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers of various schools from Kurukshetra and Karnal, along with the teaching staff of SD International School. The session focused on the development of essential life skills such as self-awareness, empathy, communication, critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and emotional well-being.

Through interactive activities, group discussions, and practical demonstrations, the resource persons highlighted effective strategies for integrating life skills into classroom teaching. The workshop provided a platform for collaborative learning and professional growth, enabling educators to create a more supportive and student-centered learning environment.

The training was insightful, engaging, and highly beneficial, enriching participants with valuable knowledge and skills for the holistic development of students.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 was conducted with great pride and enthusiasm in the school auditorium. The newly elected Student Council Members were honoured with badges and sashes by the Principal Ma’am and Coordinators.

Principal Ma’am guided and motivated the students to become responsible leaders and role models for the school. The council members also took the oath to serve the school with honesty, discipline, and dedication.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.

S.D. International School shines with pride as our young taekwondo champions showcased exceptional talent at the 3rd IT District Taekwondo Championship, Panipat.

Parnika (Class XI) won Gold and earned selection for the State Level Competition.
Aditya, Prantik & Maitri added more pride with Bronze Medals in their categories.
Hrhythm Vats also impressed everyone with a wonderful performance in the Fresher Category.

Students of SD International School enthusiastically learned and practiced Rajakapotasana (King Pigeon Pose), an advanced deep hip-opening yoga posture. Through guided sessions, students explored the benefits of the pose, including improved flexibility of the hips, thighs, and back, relief from stiffness and stress, and better posture and body balance. The practice also helped students understand the importance of yoga in promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.

Financial Literacy Workshop at S.D. International School, Panipat

The session aimed to equip students with essential knowledge about banking services and financial safety. Students actively participated, asked thoughtful questions, and gained a deeper understanding of how banking systems work.

The resource persons highlighted the importance of:

✔️ Earning interest on savings
✔️ Opening accounts only in RBI-authorized banks
✔️ Staying protected from financial fraud

The workshop was conducted by Mr. Sharad Goyal, Ms. Shamli Saini Tomar, Ms. Khushi Arora, and Mr. Dheeraj Sharma, who guided students with valuable insights and practical knowledge.

The session was highly interactive and enriched students with real-life financial awareness, preparing them for responsible financial decisions in the future.
