Dbels was proud to be part of Bharat AI Week 2026 at CII, Chandigarh, on 17th and 18th April 2026, a global confluence of education leaders, technology innovators, and industry pioneers united by one bold ambition: placing AI, Robotics, and Automation at the very heart of learning and industry.
Most significantly, Dr Gopan Gopalakrishnan, Deputy CEO of the DCM Group of Schools, represented Dbels as a distinguished panellist in Panel 2: Robotics & STEM, Powering the Skills Economy (Bridging Education & Industry), engaging in a forward-thinking dialogue on one of today’s most critical questions: how do we bridge the gap between education and industry in an age defined by intelligent machines and rapid technological advancement?
The discussion was sharp, substantive, and deeply inspiring. It reaffirmed everything Dbels stands for: building capable, future-ready learners.
Conversations like these do not just shape policies. They shape generations.

We were privileged to host the India Taekwondo Selection Trials for the 27th Asian Taekwondo Championships 2026, conducted by Taekwondo Haryana on our campus in Sector 6, MDC Panchkula. The continental championship heads to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia — and India's strongest fighters earned their spots right here. 🏆
Conducted with Olympic-level professional scoring and protective equipment, the trials saw 8 men and 8 women selected to represent the nation on the Asian stage.
A moment of deep pride as Grand Master Lee Jeong Hee, Kukkiwon-dispatched Master to India, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Special guests included Sh. Vinod Saini (General Secretary, Taekwondo Haryana), Sh. Rajbir Singh Ranga (DSO, Panchkula), Smt. Veena Arora (Chairman, Para Taekwondo), Sh. Harjinder Singh (Head Coach, Team India) and Sh. Dinesh Kumar (International Referee). Our Dy CEO Dr Gopan Gopalakrishnan and Principal Ms Anju Mehta felicitated the distinguished guests.
The real magic? Watching our Dbels students stand ringside, absorbing every move, every strategy — and sharing conversations with Grand Master Lee and Coach Harjinder Singh themselves. That is experiential learning in its truest form.

A proud moment for Dbels and the DCM Group of Schools as we formalised our partnership with Britannica Education to establish the Britannica Centre of Excellence at Dbels, the Tricity's first K-12 school of entrepreneurship.
The MoU was signed on 16 April 2026, the very day our beloved mascot Eddie turned one, marking Dbels' completion of a milestone first year. It was a fitting way to celebrate: a day of beginnings made richer by a partnership that promises many more.
The signing was led by Mr Stephen Dalla Betta, Managing Director, Britannica Education, and Dr Gopan Gopalakrishnan, Deputy CEO, DCM Group of Schools.
The Centre of Excellence will significantly enhance project-based learning at Dbels and the MoU brings world-class research tools, verified knowledge resources, and globally benchmarked learning frameworks directly into the hands of students and educators of Dbels and DCM group of schools.
In an age of information overload, equipping young learners to discern, research, and think critically is no longer optional. It is foundational.
Through curated digital libraries, professional development for teachers, and inquiry-led learning experiences, the Centre will stretch classrooms beyond textbooks and into real-world problem-solving enabling a robust problem based learning approach, the very heart of how we teach at Dbels.
