Community Helpers Day Celebrated with Gratitude at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore

On 2.5.2026, Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore celebrated Community Helpers Day with great respect and appreciation to honour the invaluable contributions of those who serve society selflessly. The event aimed to instill a sense of gratitude and awareness among students about the importance of community helpers in our daily lives.

The celebration began with enlightening speeches by students and fancy dress competition by Pre-primary wing where they confidently expressed their respect for community helpers such as doctors, teachers, sanitation workers, police officers and many others. Their words reflected deep appreciation and understanding of the vital roles these individuals play in building a safe and healthy society.

To express their gratitude, gifts were distributed to the support and labour staff of the school as a token of respect and thankfulness for their dedicated service by Mr Amol Arora, Managing Director of SHEMFORD & SHEMROCK Group of Schools and Mrs Meenal Arora, Executive Director of SHEMROCK Preschools.

Adding a special touch to the celebration, the labour staff themselves participated in a lively dance performance. Their enthusiastic and joyful presentation filled the atmosphere with energy and warmth, creating a memorable and emotional moment for everyone present.

The event beautifully highlighted the spirit of dignity of labour and mutual respect, leaving a lasting impact on students and staff alike.

Dr Amita Dhaka, Principal expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating, “Community helpers are the backbone of our society. It is essential for our students to recognize and respect their contributions. Such celebrations help in nurturing empathy and values among young minds.”

Dr Bimla Arora, Director shared, “Acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of community helpers is a step towards building a compassionate society. We are proud to inculcate these values in our students through such meaningful initiatives.”

The celebration concluded with smiles, appreciation and a renewed sense of respect for every individual who contributes to the smooth functioning of our community.
