Block-Level Science Seminar Held at SHEMFORD Futuristic School. Pinjore.

SHEMFORD Futuristic School hosted a Block-Level Science Seminar on “Indian Energy Basket 2047: Prospects and Challenges.” The event brought together students and teachers from various schools of the block.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Karanveer, B.E.O., encouraged students to take active part in such academic platforms and reminded them that success and failure are both part of life, while true value lies in participation and continuous learning. He also highlighted concerns related to cybercrime and advised students to reduce unnecessary usage of mobile phones.

Students from different schools actively engaged in quiz competitions and presentations, demonstrating strong knowledge, confidence, and scientific awareness.

The seminar served as a meaningful platform for students to understand and discuss India’s energy future and the challenges and opportunities leading up to 2047. The event concluded with appreciation for all participating schools, teachers, and students for their enthusiastic involvement and contribution to the success of the programme.

Shemford Futuristic School Hosts CBSE Capacity Building Programme on NCF 2023

Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, successfully hosted a CBSE Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 on 1st August. The workshop aimed to familiarize educators with the vision, principles and key recommendations of NCF 2023, enabling them to create learner-centric, competency-based and inclusive classrooms.

The session was conducted by esteemed Resource Persons, Ms. Ambika Arora and Ms. Anupma Sharma, who provided valuable insights into the implementation of NCF 2023. They highlighted the significance of experiential learning, competency-based assessment, multidisciplinary education and the development of critical thinking, creativity, and holistic growth among students. Interactive discussions, collaborative activities and practical classroom strategies made the workshop engaging and enriching for all participants.

The programme encouraged teachers to reflect on innovative pedagogical practices and emphasized the role of educators in nurturing future-ready learners through meaningful and joyful learning experiences.

Shemford Futuristic School Celebrates Guru Purnima with Reverence and Gratitude

On 27.7.2036, Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, celebrated Guru Purnima with great devotion and enthusiasm, paying heartfelt tribute to the invaluable role of teachers and mentors in shaping the lives of students. The special assembly highlighted the significance of Guru Purnima as a day to express gratitude towards gurus who enlighten minds with knowledge, wisdom and values.

The celebration commenced with a prayer seeking the blessings of the Almighty, followed by speeches and thought-provoking presentations by students on the importance of respecting teachers and embracing the values they impart. Students presented devotional songs, recited inspirational shlokas and a video depicting the eternal bond between a guru and a disciple was beautifully shown.

Addressing the gathering, Principal, Dr Amita Dhaka encouraged students to honour their teachers by being disciplined, sincere and dedicated in their pursuit of knowledge. She also emphasized that a true guru not only imparts education but also inspires character, confidence and compassion.

Speaking on the occasion, Director, Dr Bimla Arora extended warm wishes on the Guru Purnima day and stated that this day reminds us that teachers are the guiding lights who illuminate the path of knowledge and righteousness lives.A guru not only imparts knowledge but also inspires values, wisdom and character that guide students throughout their journey.

Our Little SHEMSTARS from Pre-Primary to Class II celebrated World Nature Conservation Day with enthusiasm and purpose. Through expressive enactments, creative leaf printing, and cheerful rhymes, our young eco-warriors spread the message of protecting Mother Earth.

Using colourful flashcards, they learned simple yet meaningful ways to care for the environment—save trees, conserve energy, reduce waste, and say NO to plastic.

Shemford Futuristic School Observes Road Safety Week with Engaging Activities

Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, observed Road Safety Week with great enthusiasm. The initiative aimed to create awareness among students about responsible road behaviour, traffic rules and the importance of ensuring safety for all road users.

The day commenced with a special Road Safety Week Assembly, where students learned about traffic regulations, road signs, and the value of disciplined driving and walking.

A variety of age-appropriate activities were conducted across different classes:

* Classes I-II participated in a colouring activity on “Traffic Lights and Zebra Crossing” and enjoyed a visit to the Traffic Park, where they learned road safety rules through practical demonstrations.
* Classes III-V expressed their understanding through slogan writing on the theme “Safety First on Roads” and also visited the Traffic Park.
* Classes VI-VIII showcased their creativity by preparing informative road safety posters, while Class IX students actively participated in a thought-provoking debate on “Are Mobile Phones the Biggest Cause of Road Accidents?”
* Classes X and XII demonstrated their awareness through an essay writing competition on the topic “Youth Responsibility in Preventing Road Accidents.”

The activities encouraged students to become responsible citizens and inspired them to spread awareness about safe road practices within their families and communities.

SHEMFORD Futuristic School, Pinjore celebrated National Parents’ Day with great enthusiasm and gratitude, recognizing the invaluable role of parents in shaping the lives of children. The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities that encouraged students to express their love, respect and appreciation for their parents.

The young learners of Pre-Primary to Class II delighted everyone with melodious songs dedicated to their parents. Students enthusiastically participated in the “Just a Minute” activity, confidently sharing their thoughts and memorable experiences with their families.

Students of Classes VI to IX showcased their creativity and emotions through paragraph writing on the theme “A Special Moment with My Parents,” expressing heartfelt gratitude and cherished memories. Meanwhile, students of Classes X to XII created beautiful photo albums titled “Memorable Moments with Mom and Dad,” preserving precious family memories in a creative and meaningful way.

The activities not only strengthened the bond between parents and children but also instilled values of love, respect, gratitude and family togetherness among students.

Kargil Vijay Diwas Observed with Patriotic Zeal at Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore

Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, solemnly commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas to honour the unparalleled courage, sacrifice and patriotism of the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War in 1999. The celebration aimed to instill a deep sense of nationalism and gratitude among students towards the armed forces.

The programme commenced with a special morning assembly, where students paid tribute to the martyrs through patriotic songs,speeches, poems and making of a National flag by Class 1st- 2nd. Students shared inspiring stories of the heroes of the Kargil War and highlighted the importance of courage, unity and selfless service to the nation.

The school campus resonated with patriotic fervour as students proudly expressed their respect for the nation’s brave defenders through Hindi Inter- House Declamation Competition.
Various other activities, including poster-making, slogan writing and a patriotic pledge were organised to encourage students to remember the sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces and to uphold the values of integrity, discipline and national pride.
