The two-day celebration concluded with a memorable Prize Distribution Ceremony, honouring the winners of all 13 competitions.
✨ Manav Mangal School, Panchkula proudly emerged as the Champion School, clinching the coveted Champions Trophy for their outstanding participation and performance.

Spirit of Independence – Day 2 : A Celebration of Talent & Patriotism 🇮🇳
Day 2 of ‘Spirit of Independence’ at D.C. Model Sr. Sec. School witnessed a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity and patriotic spirit, with students from 22 schools of the vicinity participating with great enthusiasm. The audience was treated to a series of marvellous performances including melodious Solo Singing, powerful Veer Ras Poem Recitation by the young students of Classes III and IV, creative Portrait Making, vibrant Fancy Dress and, finally, the much-awaited Nukkad Natak, which brought the celebrations to a powerful and impactful close.
Every event reflected the confidence, creativity, skill and dedication of the young participants. The colourful performances and impressive presentations kept the audience engaged throughout. The Nukkad Natak was truly the cherry on the top, leaving everyone captivated with its powerful message and energetic presentation.
Day Two was indeed a memorable celebration of talent, patriotism, creativity and the indomitable spirit of young India!

The celebrations began with the inauguration ceremony by our esteemed Chief Guests Shri Umesh Dang, Convener, Sri Sathya Sai National Council for Schools, and Colonel R.K. Bhardwaj. The day beautifully reflected the theme of Inner Freedom, with students from various schools participating enthusiastically in Group Singing, Storytelling, One-Act Play, Podcast, Kite Making, and Declamation competitions.

REPORT ON CYCLE RALLY UNDER HAR GHAR TIRANGA CAMPAIGN

A cycle rally was organised by our school as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign to promote the spirit of patriotism and encourage people to proudly display the National Flag in their homes. Students and teachers participated enthusiastically in the rally.

The participants cycled through the nearby areas carrying the Tricolour and spreading the message of national unity and pride. Patriotic slogans were raised during the rally, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and patriotism.

The rally successfully created awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and inspired students and members of the community to show respect and love for the National Flag. The event was a meaningful effort to strengthen patriotic feelings among everyone.

Report on the Celebration of 150 Years of Vande Mataram

The school celebrated the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. A special assembly was organised to commemorate the historic significance of the national song and to highlight its role in inspiring unity, patriotism and love for the motherland.

Students and teachers participated enthusiastically in the programme. The significance and historical journey of Vande Mataram were shared with the students through an informative presentation and a brief address. The students also expressed their patriotic sentiments through speeches and a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram.

As a mark of respect and commitment towards the nation, all students and staff took the Vande Mataram pledge, reaffirming their dedication to national unity, harmony, integrity and responsible citizenship. The celebration instilled a deep sense of pride and patriotism among the students and encouraged them to uphold the values of unity and national responsibility.
