Did you think preschools are all about flashy colored buildings? Think again - Architecture of a school needs to purposeful and not commercial since it plays a part of the "Third Teacher" in a school environment. Sharing few architectural features of our head branch which we envision to create with our partners in their cities.

So, when we undertook the project to revamp and add new capacity at Firstep’s current campus in 2012-13, little did we envision that our conscious decision to preserve the original sustainable architecture will help us in offering a relatively much safer and healthier workplace in today’s world.

Natural ventilation and pe*******on of natural light through central courtyards and classroom linked patios allowing forces of wind and buoyancy to deliver fresh air into building, generous semi-open /completely open learning spaces and nooks scattered across the campus and diluted classroom boundaries for our educators and little learners to have a sensory connection to the outside world; are key features which we had preserved then and now, we look forward to utilize them to the best as environment further normalizes.

May we have our little learners back soon to add life back into this campus!

Montessori, being an alternative education methodology, needs effective strategies to educate parents on the same. One of the strategies created by our head branch is "Experience Montessori Live" where parents learn to work with Montessori material under guidance of our Internationally qualified Montessori teachers

A fun educative initiative where Montessori III parents got to work with Montessori material under guidance of Montessorians, gaining first hand insight on how beautifully Montessori molds a child's mind in early years.

It is important to keep parents abreast with Montessori concepts taught inside the classrooms. Here our head branch is using technology to spread Montessori knowledge for parents to observe and understand

It is such a pleasure to see out toddlers from Montessori I & II exhibit great transformations from the inert babies to conscious intelligent children in Montessori III, IV & Primary Grades, who are now completely ready to benefit from the marvel of Montessori Education.

Our Montessori seeds of social and cognition development sown between 0-3 years blossom into beautiful children by ages 3-6 years, who by now possess clarification and classification of absorbed impressions; increased knowledge and vocabulary; logical/linear thinking and internalization of symbol systems i.e. language and mathematics. These skills are over above the acquired social intelligence made up of self-discipline, increased independence, patience, ability to share and a respect for others and the rules of social order.

So experience the complete First Plane of Development (0-6 years) with us the Montessori Way, because there is no fun in job half done!

As part of progressive curriculum, our head branch is coming up with one of its kind and first Farm Learning Center for children as part of regular schooling

Let us take children back to nature, because that is where they are truly happy and at peace with themselves!

With an aim to introduce nature education in our functioning, we started the development of our Nature and Farm Learning center through the hands of our little learners.

With a lot of hard work under the sun, our Graders planted 25 trees to lay the foundation of this initiative.
