The day began with beautiful morning prayers, followed by study sessions in small groups.

The group studying To Describe the World completed two lessons—four in total, including Counting, God’s Creation, and Sets.

The students then prepared a lesson plan to interact with the local pre-primary and primary children. During their noble and pure visit to the school, the youth were seen immersed in love for the children as they taught them about the senses of hearing, seeing, and touch. They also revised counting through creative methods from their book and helped the little ones categorise objects such as stones and leaves into sets, describing the characteristics of each element. The students even played the Lighthouse game with them—a favourite they had learned during their own study sessions at the camp.

The visit concluded with a joyful group photo. The goodbyes were filled with warm hugs and handshakes, leaving both the youth and the children deeply touched. The experience of teaching younger children broadened the students’ understanding of the needs of humanity.

After returning, they enjoyed a hearty lunch followed by further study sessions, adventure activities, and swimming. The wonderful time spent in both service and joyful recreation will remain unforgettable.

During the evening reflections, they engaged the audience in interactive games and activities inspired by the same educational themes explored in To Describe the World. The day ended with cheerful counting songs such as One little, two little, three little caterpillars climbing!

“Splash!” truly became the word of the day. On the second morning of camp, the youth dived into beautiful prayers, their voices filling the air with joy and devotion. After a hearty breakfast, they gathered eagerly in their groups for an uplifting study session. By afternoon, excitement bubbled over as they set off for an outing to Aqua Imagica, where friendship and laughter were in abundance. The wonderful waterpark rang with squeals, splashes and smiles as they zoomed down slides, waded through cool pools and soaked up every refreshing moment together.

On their return, the youth turned the energy of the day inward, preparing heartfelt reflections. Each group took the microphone and, through songs, skits, drawings, dances, quizzes and other creative forms, presented what they had learned. Their presentations explored themes related to the higher nature of the human being, the vital role of youth in society, and the many acts of service they can carry out for the betterment of the world.

These shared experiences deepened their understanding, strengthened bonds of friendship and gave each participant greater confidence to stand before others, express their insights and step forward with joy.

The enthusiastic students of Class XI from New Era’s set out early in the morning for their much-awaited six-day camp—a time to bond with friends and teachers in a joyful yet meaningful setting. The day began with uplifting morning prayers, followed by a lively bus journey filled with songs, laughter, and cheerful conversations. A stop for a delicious breakfast added to the excitement, setting a bright tone for the days ahead.

One of the day’s most memorable moments was the visit to the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, an impressive venue that can accommodate 42,000 spectators. The students were thrilled to see the Maharashtra Women’s Cricket Team in action, showcasing their batting, bowling, and fielding skills. Their energy and sportsmanship inspired enthusiastic applause from everyone present.

The group then headed to Monteria Village—an innovative space designed to bring the essence of rural life alive. Here, the students enjoyed a variety of engaging experiences, from exploring a carpenter’s workshop and cycle repair shop to watching puppet and magic shows. They also had fun on tractor and bullock-cart rides, visited a cow shed and a biogas plant, and played traditional village games. This immersive experience offered them a beautiful glimpse into India’s village culture and made for a refreshing and memorable start to their camp.

While studying Lesson 1, The Desire to Serve’, from the book – To Describe the World, Unit 1, the youth learnt a very important lessons about serving others such as Humility and Faith. MAlso, the youth understood that they needed a strong will as they might face many difficulties in the path of service. The discussions were on virtues such as love, faith in God, kindness, respect and patience which inspired them to live a righteous life of service.

The students of Class XI joyfully celebrated Intercalary Days on February 27 and 28, 2025, with a heartfelt initiative, visiting local pre-primary schools as a meaningful extension of their learning from the book ‘To Describe the World’. A small group of students spent time at Mapro School, First Step School, Cuddles School, Tiny Tots School, and New Era Pre-Primary School, engaging with the little ones through a series of fun and educational activities.
The session began on a serene note with the chanting of prayers, setting a calm and positive atmosphere. The senior students then led interactive games like Lighthouse, Memory Game, and Inside Outside the Circle, alongside delightful activities such as drawing, singing with actions and other creative tasks. Each activity was thoughtfully designed to spark imagination, boost cognitive skills, and encourage social interaction among the young children.
Their excitement and joy were infectious, as they eagerly participated and bonded with their older peers. Their beaming faces made the experience even more special and rewarding for the Class XI students.
The visit ended on a sweet note, literally! The senior students handed out chocolates and learning games as small tokens of love, made possible through their own contributions. This simple yet thoughtful gesture strengthened the connection between the two age groups, leaving behind bright smiles and warm memories for everyone involved.
