On May 23, 2025, an orientation programme for Classes I to V was held in the Primary, beginning with a lively celebration of the Declaration of the Bab led by Class IV students who had recently completed the book of Grade III. The day commenced with heartfelt prayers that highlighted the significance of the occasion.

Following the opening ceremony, the new students were guided to the computer lab, where Mr. Uttam, with his soulful voice, taught various prayers, quotations, and songs. His friendly manner created a lively atmosphere, and the children happily recited along, quickly picking up the words and melodies.

The first session was based on the Grade I lesson, Purity of Heart. The dedicated teachers explained the concepts effectively, helping the students to understand the values through interactive stories and memorable quotations, which the children successfully memorized. A unique activity, drinking water with hands tied to a stick, emphasized the lesson's message of preferring others before oneself, reinforcing the theme through experiential learning.

The second session focused on the virtue of Compassion. The students connected with the concept through discussions and anecdotes, demonstrating their understanding and genuine appreciation for this important value. They eagerly learned the related quotations and participated in another team-building activity, walking short distances with legs tied in pairs, manifesting trust and teamwork.

Between sessions, Mr. Gopal uplifted the students with energizing music, followed by a fun dance practice session involving all groups. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to creative expression in the primary auditorium, wherein students participated in colouring activities. During this time, Mr. Uttam led the second song from the lesson, adding an element of joy as children sang along while colouring.

To conclude the day, balloons were distributed to students of Classes I, II, and III, bringing smiles and excitement. The programme ended joyously with a cheerful group photograph, capturing the happy faces and memories from a day filled with learning, creativity, and friendship.

Laughter, kindness and the spirit of giving filled the air as the Primary Department embraced the Ayyam-i-Ha celebrations with open hearts and eager hands. From February 25 to 28, 2025, the young students embarked on meaningful service projects centred around the theme of Water, each class contributing in its own special way.

Class I lovingly watered plants, while Class II carried out a cleaning drive near a temple. Class III expressed gratitude to the hardworking staff at the Panchgani water station, and Class IV stepped into the bustling market to spread awareness about the water crisis. Meanwhile, Class V A inspired students at the Municipal School with a presentation on water conservation, gifting them water bottles as a reminder of its value. Class V B visited Godoli, learning about the water system and sharing sweets with the community, and Class V C explored a farm in Shindewadi, understanding the vital role of water in both agriculture and daily life.

The grand culmination of these efforts took place on February 28, in a beautifully decorated Primary Auditorium. Vibrant balloons, colourful paper streamers, and a charming gift-exchange frame set the perfect stage for the joyous occasion. The pre-primary celebration, led by the students of Class XI, featured heartfelt prayers, lively games, a cheerful dance, and the sweet delight of chocolates, leaving the little ones beaming with joy.

At 1:00 pm, the festivities continued for Classes I to V. The school choir opened the programme with soulful prayers that resonated with warmth and gratitude. The teachers shared the significance of Ayyam-i-Ha, setting the tone for a day of appreciation and reflection.

One by one, the students took the stage to recount their experiences. Class I narrated their visit to Hadden House and their role in nurturing the plants. Class II students spoke passionately about their cleaning drive and the impact of their work. A heartfelt PowerPoint presentation highlighted the beauty of generosity, reinforcing the importance of selfless giving.
Music and movement added to the joy as all the students joined in a spirited song, their voices echoing the happiness of the day. Class III students then described their thoughtful interactions at the water station, their gratitude captured in handwritten cards and shared snacks. As they exchanged gifts, their excitement was contagious.

Class IV students stepped up next, sharing insights from their market awareness campaign and proudly showcasing their posters. A dance performance followed, with children swaying to uplifting songs like Joy Gives Us Wings and Generosity, their enthusiasm lighting up the auditorium.

As the celebration neared its end, the senior-most students, Class V A, V B, and V C enthusiastically spoke about their meaningful visits to the municipal school, Godoli, and Shindewadi, emphasizing the lessons they had learned about water and community.

And then, in a grand finale, Mr. Gopal took the stage for a surprise dance, inviting students to join in. Laughter and energy filled the hall as everyone danced together, wrapping up the celebration on a note of pure joy.

With smiles still lingering and hearts full, the students returned to their classrooms, where delicious snacks awaited them, an ending as sweet as the generosity they had shared throughout the Ayyam-i-Ha days.

Enhancing Our Understanding of Water - Intercalary Days Service Activities in the Primary

As part of the Intercalary Days celebrations, the children from Primary blissfully participated in a series of service activities from February 25 to 28, 2025. Centred around the theme of ‘Water,’ these activities combined meaningful learning experiences with the spirit of joy and service that defines Intercalary Days.
The students of Class I visited the School Nursery at Hayden House and took part in a hands-on activity of watering plants. Before getting started, they enjoyed a storytelling session that highlighted the importance of plant hydration. A simple yet powerful experiment, comparing a dry plant with a well-watered one, helped them to understand how essential water is for growth. Through this experience, the students connected the act of conserving nature with generosity and pledged to care for plants at home.
Class II visited the Ganpati Temple well and helped to clean the surrounding area. They learned about the well as a source of water, how water reaches it, and why maintaining its cleanliness is crucial. This visit expanded their understanding of water management and instilled in them a sense of responsibility toward preserving local water sources.
The students of Class III had an educational visit to the Panchgani water station, wherein they explored the water supply system from Mahabaleshwar to Panchgani. They observed key processes like sedimentation, filtration, and chlorination, understanding how water is made safe for consumption. As a token of appreciation, they prepared handmade thank-you cards and shared sweets with the station staff, acknowledging their efforts in ensuring clean water for the community.
The students of Class IV took their message of water conservation to the local market. They designed and displayed posters, interacting with vendors and shoppers to emphasize the importance of using water sustainably. Their creative initiative helped to spread awareness and encouraged community participation in protecting this precious resource.
Class VA conducted an interactive awareness session at the Marathi Municipal School in Panchgani. Through prayers, quotes, poetry, a skit, and a video presentation, they highlighted the importance of water conservation. In a thoughtful gesture, they gifted water bottles to the children, reinforcing the message of hydration and sustainability.
Class VB visited Godwali village to gain insights into rural water management. They interacted with local families to understand the sources of water such as wells, borewells, and stored supplies, as well as the challenges of water scarcity. Observing how the Gram Panchayat ensures fair water distribution, they reflected on their own water usage habits and pledged to use water more responsibly. This visit helped them to appreciate the importance of equitable access to water and the collective efforts needed to conserve it.
Meanwhile, the students of Class VC visited Shindewadi village to explore traditional water sources and conservation practices. They observed wells, hand pumps and storage tanks while talking to local families to learn about their water management strategies. This experience gave them a real-world perspective on rural life, seasonal water challenges and the need for sustainable conservation efforts.
Through these experiential learning activities, the young ones gained valuable acumen into the many dimensions of water as a precious resource and also celebrated the Intercalary days very meaningfully.

Celebrations and Reflection of Spirituality 2025, popularly known as Bal Mela,was a beautiful celebration of joy, spirituality, and artistic expression by the students and staff members of the Primary. Held on February 14, 2025, in the main auditorium, the occasion brought together students, teachers, and guests in an atmosphere filled with warmth and enthusiasm. As one of the final programmes of the academic year, it was a time to reflect, rejoice, and revel in the incredible talent of our young learners.

The entrance to the auditorium was a sight to behold—a thoughtfully designed welcome board captured the essence of the event, while a vibrant Rangoli added a splash of colour and tradition. Inside, the hall resounded with the theme of music, with a grand banner displaying musical notes, a stage set with pianos and guitars, and a podium adorned with exquisite instruments.

The event was gracefully led by our student anchors, who guided the audience through the programme with their melodious voices and charming presence. Our esteemed guests—Ms. Nica Louie, Mr. Steven Schönberger, and Ms. Suniti—were warmly welcomed and escorted to the ceremonial lamp lighting by two bright young students, Harita Korade and Shourya Baranwal. As per tradition, the event began with a moment of spiritual reflection and prayers, with Class VI students enchanting the audience with their harmonious voices, seeking divine blessings.

Adding a unique touch to the proceedings, the school song was sung by our students, their voices uniting in a powerful rendition that reverberated across the auditorium. This was followed by a very graceful Kathak performance by the Class V girls, whose nimble movements and expressive storytelling won thunderous applause.

The talent on display was quite extraordinary. The students from the phonic workshop cutely dispalyed their skills, confidently presenting inspiring quotes and stories, including those of "Susan Moody," "Lua Getsinger," and "The Wolf, Wolf," which were seamlessly woven into the programme.

The performances continued to delight and inspire. Class I began their segment with a heartfelt song reminding us that “Truthfulness is Brighter than the Light of the Sun...” followed by an energetic dance to “Joy Gives Us Wings to Fly,” and a charming piano rendition of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." Class IV expressed their gratitude through the spiritual song “I Thank and Praise the Lord,” while Class II brought grace to the stage with a Kathak dance inspired by cooperative games that they had learned in their moral education classes.

The musical highlight of the event was a mesmerizing performance by Class V students, who played Ed Sheeran’s pieces on the keyboard and guitar, presenting their musical prowess. The audience was then treated to a heartfelt drama that beautifully illustrated the profound influence of schools, teachers, parents, and families in shaping a child's journey.

Class III left the audience spellbound with their dynamic dance to “Radiance,” followed by a moving chant of “Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster...” and a delightful keyboard performance of “Ode to Joy.” The elegance and enthusiasm displayed were truly commendable.

Class IV returned to the stage with yet another breathtaking Kathak performance featuring the rhythmic beats of the Manjira, followed by a lively group dance to “Be Fair.” The rhythm of the Tabla and a melodious choir comprising students from Classes I to V performing “Hum Bunde Hein” further emphasized the themes of unity and togetherness.

To conclude the segment, Class V delivered a powerful and touching dance performance to “Light Up the Whole Bright World,” a song that encouraged kindness, spirituality, and urged to make a positive difference in the world.

“Dance is the music of our body, sound is the rhythm of our feeling, and silence is the symphony of our soul.” Taking on this theme, the grand finale was spectacular with a vibrant dance performance featuring students from across the Primary Department, choreographed under the expert guidance of Mr. Gopal. The finale beautifully captured the essence of the event, demonstrating how music and movement transcend barriers, promoting harmony and joy.

The celebration ended on a high note, with our esteemed guests sharing words of appreciation for the incredible performances and the collective efforts that brought this event to life. Their heartfelt praise was a reflection of the spirit and dedication of our students, teachers, and organizers, making Bal Mela 2025 a truly unforgettable experience.

The students of Class IV were accompanied to a year-end learning trip to Mahabaleshwar on January 30, 2025. The objective of this visit was to provide them with experiential learning that complemented the lessons from their moral education curriculum.

Their first stop was the Sunrise Wax Museum an institute run by visually impaired individuals who have worked together to earn a living with dignity and self-respect. This visit aimed to instil a sense of gratitude in the children for the blessings they have in their lives. The inspiring story of Mr. Bhavesh deeply moved them, helping them to understand the value of dedication and perseverance.

The children purchased candles crafted by the institute’s members, contributing to their income and nurturing a spirit of love and sharing. They also joyfully posed for pictures with the staff, capturing memories of this meaningful visit.

Thereafter, they visited Pratap Singh Garden, where they engaged in a thematic art and music activity. They created paper roses and a heart symbolizing "The Garden of Ridván", expressing their joy through singing and dancing. The day was made even more special with delicious snacks and lunch served in the garden, allowing them to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Hence, this outing was a deeply enriching and gratifying experience for both the students and teachers, leaving them with lasting lessons of gratitude, kindness, and togetherness.

The Class V year-end camp was a beautiful sojourn filled with excitement, learning, and heartfelt moments. It all began in the early morning at the school gate, wherein the children gathered for soulful prayers, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. With beaming faces and eager hearts, they boarded the bus at 7:00 AM, singing and dancing their way to Pune. A stop for a delicious breakfast only added to their joy, as they bonded over shared meals and laughter.

The sight of the resort left them in awe, and after settling into their rooms, they jumped straight into a high-energy dance workshop led by Mr. Gopal. His lively spirit and engaging moves had everyone on their feet, moving to the rhythm and soaking in the fun. The indoor gaming zone provided more opportunities for play and laughter before the children gathered for a meaningful study session.

The lesson on "Investigation of Truth" led to an understanding of fairness, perception and independent thinking. A powerful prayer opened the session, followed by a discussion on the quote, "O Son of Spirit! The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice..." The children reflected on how our senses and reasoning guide us toward truth. They listened intently to the story of Mírzá Abu’l-Fadl and the blacksmith, which beautifully illustrated the value of questioning and seeking answers for oneself.

An interactive activity with coloured glasses made the lesson even more relatable, helping them understand how perceptions can be altered. This sparked a meaningful conversation about treating everyone with kindness and equality, rather than judging based on appearances. To bring their thoughts to life, the children drew eyes as symbols of their newfound perspective.

With appetites well earned, they enjoyed a hearty lunch before diving into adventure activities. The boys started with thrilling outdoor challenges while the girls splashed around in the swimming pool, and later, they switched. The excitement continued with a visit to an orphanage, where they were warmly welcomed by the children. They shared stories, laughter, and gifts of daily essentials, creating beautiful moments of connection. Ms. Rekha and Mr. Laxman led a heartfelt song, and soon, everyone joined in, filling the space with music and joy.

Back at the resort, a delicious dinner awaited them, followed by a magical evening around a bonfire. The flickering flames, soulful music, and treats of ice cream and chips made for an unforgettable night under the stars.

The next morning was just as special. After prayers and a nourishing breakfast, the children reflected on their lesson from the previous day. Their thoughts took shape in various forms—through prayers, quotations, stories, drama, dance, and songs. Their creativity and depth of understanding were truly heartwarming to witness.

With hearts full and bags packed, they set off for Pune once more. Their first stop was the Katraj Zoo, where they observed fascinating animals up close, marvelling at the wonders of nature. The excitement continued at the Science Park, where they explored hands-on exhibits related to physics, biology, and automobiles, fuelling their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

As the bus rolled back toward school, the children reflected on the past two days. They had discovered new friendships, gained deeper insights, and created cherished memories that would stay with them forever. Though they returned late at night, the journey had been magical—a perfect blend of adventure, learning and the warmth of shared experiences.

To welcome the beloved children of Classes II-VI, the school arranged the orientation sessions, which proved to be a wonderful, interactive opportunity for the newly enrolled children to get acquainted with the values and principles of the school. The children of Classes II- V learnt and reflected about the important spiritual qualities like Purity of Heart and Compassion, while the Class VI students explored the significance of Maintaining a Prayerful Attitude. These lessons were brought to life through fun activities such as prayers, quotations, songs, stories, cooperative games, and colouring exercises, all designed to help the children understand and embrace these important virtues in their life. To wrap up the programme on a creative and positive note, the children participated in an art activity focussed on the Purity of Heart, creating beautiful hearts adorned with profound quotations.

A Virtue-Based Assembly by Class III

In a mesmerizing display of childhood's exuberance and spiritual enlightenment, the young souls of Class III gathered in a harmonious morning assembly on October 23, 2023, to celebrate the ethereal virtue of "Love of God." The atmosphere was awash with a sense of devotion, as the innocent hearts sought to explore the profound connection between love and divinity.
Through quotes from Holy Writings, a sweetly performed skit and cute speeches, the students illuminated the profound truth that love of God is the ultimate source of joy, peace and unity. Their innocent voices resonated like celestial harmonies, touching the deepest recesses of every heart present and lit the Main auditorium with a spiritual aura.
