Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, pleasanter indeed than any happiness, and joy is the company, is the power of the name of Krishna. Janmashtami was celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnations of Lord Vishnu. According to the Hindu calendar, this festival is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksh, or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadon. This day indicated the beginning of hope in the old times; hope that the malicious rule of Kansa would soon end.

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at *Bharati Vidyapeeth God's Valley International school* Panchgani on August 26th, 2024, with mirth and joy. The fragrance of flowers, the soothing aroma of camphor, and the jingle of bells filled the air. While this religious significance is not lost, this day signifies a lot more to modern India. It signifies excitement, euphoria, and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. It brought devotion, creativity, enjoyment, and fun all together. Students, along with faculty members, do worship of Lord Krishna. The celebration began by offering homage full of devotion to Lord Krishna through Shri Krishna Aarti by the Principal.
Students performed emotional skits which highlighted the emotions of Sudama and Shrikrishna. Songs, Speeches and Dances were presented by the students to exhibit their joy. The program was anchored by Class 10th students like Miss Amulya Ralebhat and Miss Riddhi Lahigude.The programme ended with a a Principals speech which enlightened the importance of Bhakti and devotion in one's life.

This program was conducted under the able guidance of our Principal Mr. Amit Singh Bhatia sir.

The festival of DahiHandi was celebrated in *BVGVIS Panchgani* on 7th September 2023 with utmost pomp and gaiety. The whole environment was filled with joy and cheer. The students and staff members of the School were the ‘Govindas’ who made several attempts to reach the Handi and finally made a pyramid and broke it .Our Principal Mr. Yogesh Sharma played a heartening role. The Students from class II-X witnessed the entire event with enormous zeal and zest. All the teachers participated in the celebration with enthusiasm. The Students delved into the religious and Cultural aura which the celebration brought.
The Programme was ended by distribution of Prasad and Milk to everyone.

*Bharati Vidyapeeth's God's Valley International school Panchgani* participated in the interschool wrestling Tournaments organised by Batha School Panchgani on 31st Aug.2023, where three students of our school came up with flying colours.Among them Mast.Tejas Jadhav of class IX ,under 17 years and 46kg. Stood at first position whereas Mast.Dhruv Patangare of class IX stood at first position under 17 boys and 51 kg. Whereas Mast. Sushant Popeta of class IX under 17 and 46 kg stood at third position.

Mr.Manas Pati sir the sport teacher and our Principal Mr. Yogesh Sharma sir guided the students in due time and motivated the students for their outstanding results.

Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living so today on 28th July 2023 the students of *BVGVIS Panchgani* fantasized everyone with their fantastic stories in the *Story Telling Competition*. The competetors presented their stories As per their Respective houses and Groups. It was divided in three categories i.e. Juniors, Middles and Seniors.At the beginning Mrs. Prasanna Dange ma'am instructed the students with the norms of the competition and stated the importance of conducting such competitions at School level. Mr. Arun Yadav sir, Mr. Sachin Bansode sir & Mr. Ganesh Parthe sir judged the competition. It was really a difficult task for them to make out result due to a tough competition. Approximately 27 Candidates participated in it. Everyone was overwhelmed by watching and listening all the stories presented by all students. At last Principal sir announced the result and congratulated all the winners. It was conducted with the motivation from Hon'ble chairperson Smt. Vijay Mala Kadam (Vahini Saheb),The Fountain of Knowledge Hon'ble secretary Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam Sir (Balasaheb) and under the eminent leadership of Hon'ble Directors Dr. Arundhati Nikam Ma’am, Mr. M. D. Kadam Sir & our Inspiration the Principal Mr. Yogesh Sharma Sir.

The prestigious day of Investiture Ceremony was held on 14th July 2023, dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of Bharati Vidyapeeth's God's Valley International School, Panchgani to lead the school with their commitment, confidence, and competence. The school held the ceremony with great enthusiasm. It was the occasion when the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. To inculcate leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of being an important and integral part of the administrative body, ‘Student Council/Prefectorial Body’ is formed every year. The event began with a Lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Kamlesh Pawar Sir, an NCO (Hawaladar) 22 Maharashtra Battalion, along with Respected Principal Mr. Yogesh Sharma Sir and others. The programme was organized by the Sport teacher at our school Mr. Manas Pati Sir and our N.C.C. Teacher Mr. Ankit Sharma Sir. Mr. Ganesh Parthe Sir introduced the programme and welcomed the Chief Guest, whereas Mrs. Prasanna Kumari Dange Ma’am announced the names of the members of Students Council for the Academic Year 2023-24. The students of the newly elected Council were conferred with badges and flowers by The Chief Guest and The Principal. The Body comprises the Captain of the School, Miss Anushka Sonawane; School Vice-Captain Mst. Asad Shaikh, other Captains of School & House, Hostel Prefects & Class Monitors. The Oath of Honor was taken by the Prefectorial Body. Sachin Bansode Sir rendered the Vote of Thanks for the programme. The programme concluded with the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’.
The Program was conducted with the motivation from Hon'ble chairperson Smt. Vijay Mala Kadam (Vahini Saheb), Hon'ble secretary Dr. Vishwajeet Kadam Sir (Babasaheb) and under the able guidance of the Directors Dr. Arundhati Nikam Ma’am, Mr. M. D. Kadam Sir & Mr. Yogesh Sharma Sir.

Maharashtra Day and International Day was celebrated in the school. Entire staff of the school was present for the auspicious day. At the outset Principal Mr. Kurma Rao Repaka hoisted the flag. The entire staff joined in the chorus and sang National Anthem which was followed by the Maharashtra song.
Mr. Dattatray Rajguru, Marathi Subject teacher addressed the assembly on this occasion highlighting on the invaluable sacrifice of the Martyrs in the making of Maharashtra state. He glorified the contribution of the freedom fighters in the State building. He paid his tribute to the Maharashtra state for his generosity and greatness through his own poem.
