MISS TANAYA SUKHTHANKAR OF RAVINDRA KELEKAR DNYANMANDIR SHINES AT LATE DR.SUBHASH RAGHUVIR NAIK MEMORIAL ALL GOA INTER- SCHOOL YOUNG ORATORS' ELOCUTION COMPETITION 2026 ORGANISED BY MUSHTIFUND HIGH SCHOOL, CUJIRA
Mushtifund High School, Cujira, successfully organised the Late Dr. Subhash Raghvir Naik Memorial All Goa Inter-School Young Orators’ Elocution Competition 2026 on 22nd August 2026 at the Late Vireshwar Upadhyay Rao Hall, Cujira, Goa.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 26 reputed schools across Goa, with Std. IX students showcasing their confidence, articulation and oratory skills on four thought-provoking topics: Social Media: A Connection or Distraction?, Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence, My Vision for India @2047, and The Power of Mental Well-being.

Second Prize: Miss Aditi Mulgaonkar, Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa, Goa
Third Prize: Miss Drexel Zia Abranches, Our Lady of the Rosary High School, Dona Paula, Goa
Consolation Prize: Miss Anaya Dipak Kulkarni, V.D. & S.V. Wagle High School, Mardol, Mangeshi, Goa
🌟 Special Prize for Best Speaker: Miss Tanaya Sukhtthankar, Ravindra Kelekar Dyanmandir, Margao, Goa
The First Prize and Special Prize for Best Speaker were both awarded to Miss Tanaya Sukhtthankar for her outstanding oratory, confident presentation, articulation, expression and overall impact.
The competition was judged by Mrs. Angela Menezes, Teacher, Holy Family High School, Porvorim, and Mrs. Anisha Nitin Sinai Salgaonkar, Retired Teacher, Mushtifund High School, Cujira, Santa-Cruz.
The programme was graced by Dr. Sita Naik, wife of Late Dr. Subhash R. Naik; Mr. Anand Naik and Mr. Ramesh Naik, brothers of Late Dr. Subhash R. Naik; and members of the Naik family.
Along with the family members, Mrs. Aparna Chari, Headmistress, Mushtifund High School, and Assistant Headmistresses Mrs. Chantal Gracias and Mrs. Beena G. K. Shankhwalker was present on the dais.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Headmistress Mrs. Aparna Chari, followed by the introduction of the judges by Assistant Teacher Ms. Ruchi Khandeparkar. Assistant Teacher Ms. Shilpa Naik presented the bio-sketch of Late Dr. Subhash R. Naik, after which a short video highlighting his life and contributions was screened.
Dr. Sita Naik addressed the gathering and formally declared the competition open. The young orators then presented their speeches with enthusiasm, confidence and conviction.
At the conclusion, the judges congratulated all the participants and prize winners. Mr. Anand Naik addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights on effective oration and public speaking.
The programme was compered by Assistant Teacher Ms. Ruchi Khandeparkar, while the vote of thanks was proposed by Assistant Teacher Mrs. Prachi Kenkare. The duties of registration and timekeeping were efficiently carried out by the Teacher Trainees.
Heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and participants for their commendable performances. The event was a meaningful tribute to the legacy of Late Dr. Subhash R. Naik and provided young speakers with a valuable platform to develop confidence, communication skills and the art of effective expression.
