As we gear up towards our final event for this Academic Year, Dia Mundial da Língua Portuguesa (World Portuguese Language Day) on May 5th 2024, here are some snippets of our celebrations on World Poetry Day, where we had Goa’s first female rap artiste, Sharlaine Menezes (.music) conduct a rap workshop! 🎤

The event witnessed the very enthusiastic participation of students from Goa University, as well as other institutions.

The celebrations of Dia Mundial da Língua Portuguesa are an initiative of the Consulate General of Portugal in Goa and CLP-Camões Goa, in collaboration with the Discipline of Portuguese and Lusophone Studies, SGSLL, Goa University.

The event will take place at CLP-Camões in Panaji-Goa () and will include a reading session, followed by a musical evening, with Ondas Lusófonas! ✨
