WHAT'S THE HURRY??
In commemoration of Road Safety Week,the student council of SKHMC organised a ROAD SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM today at the campus. Mr.Phadte and Mr. Upadhye headed the session and gave us a very valuable insight on the importance of our own safety and the safety of others while on the roads.
It is our responsibility and as future doctors this responsibility just doubles up.
A concluding note was given by our principal Dr. S. D. Naik.

It was ringing and Jingling at the SKHMC Campus as the HO!!HO! HO! Of santa echoed in the air!! The student council organised a Christmas party 🎉 "JINGLES" on 22nd December 2016. It was a fun filled evening with many games, music, singing and exchanging of gifts. Our Santa clause too had a great time with the energetic crowd at the party!! On the occasion of Christmas Students council of skhmc organised a Christmas party at little Valentine's heaven orphanage.... students and staff of skhmc...donated generously towards the cause... we organised various games and activities for the kids... it was a small effort by us to ignite the light of happiness in the lives of the less fortunate☺😊

Graduation day was celebrated at Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College by the student council. It gets best is immense happiness to say that our college is one of the very few colleges in Goa to have a graduation day in the campus. Dr. V. N. Jindal former dean of GMC and a consulting neurosurgeon was the Chief guest. The ceremony commenced with a parade by the chief guest, principal , faculty and interns around the campus... we then had a grand entry of the interns to the venue. Dr S.D. Naik welcomed the gathering with his words of encouragement and advice. Two of our interns Dr Simran Singh and Dr Tavishee Gaonkar shared their experiences with us. Our chief guest gave away the graduation certificates and then kept us engaged in a very intellectual graduation speech. It was indeed a very beautiful evening ☺️

The Student Council of Shri Kamaxidevi Homoeopathic Medical College, organised a street play to commemorate World AIDS day(1st December)
We had it at the Panaji KTC bus stand and at Margao(New Market).
The street play was aimed at spreading awareness among the common public about AIDS.
We tried to send this message , "HATE THE DISEASE ,NOT THE DISEASED!"
We tried to burst common myths about AIDS, depicted the causes,spread,prevention and people's attitude towards the disease through different scenes.
We we very happy with the public response that we got...It was a beautiful experience.

We are back after a long break due to our university exams :-! We are gonna organize a street play tomorrow to commemorate WORLD AIDS DAY(1st December) as our way of giving back to society!
Venue: Panaji Bus Stand KTC at 10am
Margao old bus stand(near the petrol pump) at 12pm.
Hoping to see y'all there in large numbers coz you are definitely gonna go back with a changed perspective on the disease and the diseased.
