Mrs Shabnam Khan held an awareness session the Juvenile Justice Act and Drug Abuse for the children of Hamara School on 27th November, 2025.She explained the importance of the JJ Act and the recent legal changes, including how serious offences by minors aged 16–18 may be treated under adult law.
She also spoke about dangers of smoking, drug misuse and other addictive habits, and how these can harm their health and future.

Children's Day celebrated at Hamara School.Games were held for the kids.The staff of Hotel Taj Vivanta treated them to some yummy snacks.All- in- all a fun evening!

Hamara School has been a home for 55 children who have nowhere else to go—giving them education, care, and stability. But with their premises taken over for redevelopment, they must vacate in just weeks. Unless a new space is found urgently, these children risk losing their only safe haven.

Good morning, Hamara School celebrated Independence day by hoisting the flag by our committee member Mahesh Gaonkar Retd.SP. All the children, along with chief guest Prakash Kamat,committee members, teachers,volunteers sang the national anthem with zest.Once this was over,the children sang patriotic songs like Vande Mataram and a patriotic song in Marathi. The younger girls performed a dance too. The atmosphere was full of patriotism.After this children and guests were served snacks and the program ended on a patriotic note with Prakash sir talking about unity and values to our children.Our enthusiastic volunteer Swati Karve told them a patriotic story too.All went home thinking of a better Bharat.Jai Hind!

A Humble Appeal on the Occasion of Gurpurṇimā

As we come together to honor the wisdom and compassion of our Gurus on this sacred day of Gurpurṇimā, let us not forget the children who look to education as their guiding light.

We are deeply saddened to share that a place of learning -HAMARA SCHOOL — a modest yet vital center for underprivileged children — is on the verge of being lost. For many of these young souls, this space is more than a classroom. It is a sanctuary where they receive not only knowledge but care, dignity, and hope for a better future.

An appeal to the government to provide an alternative place 🙏

Summer camp was held at Hamara School on the 24th, 25th, and 26th, organized by Don Bosco. The camp was well-organized and included a variety of activities.
Children actively participated and truly enjoyed themselves. The sessions were interactive, helped in building skills, confidence, and teamwork among the students.
