Media Coverage of Bharat Scouts & Guide Training Camp, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh).
Bharat Scouts and Guides/Rovers Training cm Service Camp at Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) was organized from 20/05/2022 to 23/05/2022 for D.Ed. /B. Ed./M. Ed. students under the able guidance of Prof. Laxmi Sharma, Principal, Advanced Institute of Education, Aurangabad, Palwal. The above four-day educational tour was started on 19 May, 2022 from the college campus. On 20th May 2022, after reaching the camp site in Shimla, the camp was inaugurated by doing various activities related to the camp. During this, Rovers / Rangers were made aware of the basic principles of scout along with scout prayer, oath taking, flag hoisting, and flag song. In the afternoon all the students proceeded for Darshan of ancient Sankat Mochan temple located in Shimla. On 21st May 2022, at 6 am, all the students started the day by conducting all the exercises of BP-6 and Mr. L. S.Verma, Commissioner, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Haryana, told the detailed information about the science and history of Scouting and also informed about the geographical conditions, living habits, food and culture of the hilly region. During this, key office bearers of the camp Mr. Yogesh Kumar DOC / Camp Leader, Mr. Balwan Singh, ALT, Mr. Vikram Singh, Himalaya Wood Wedge, Fatehabad along with the staff members appointed by the Advanced Institution of Education, Assistant Prof. Geeta Harsana, Assistant Prof. Surendra Pratap Singh and Assistant Prof. Manveer Singh was present. On 22nd May, all the students and other members visited the ancient Tara Devi temple located on the inaccessible hills of Shimla. This journey of about 7.5 kms from the camp to the temple site was completed by trekking through the hills. From time to time the students were directed by the assistant professors of the institute Geeta Harsana, Surendra Pratap Singh and Manveer Singh. During the camp, so many skills were developed in the students, along with the ability to lead, self-confidence, sense of brotherhood, as well as amazing experiences were made about how to serve human beings in adversity. On 23rd May, the camp was concluded at 8 am and left for Palwal.
Advanced Institute of Pharmacy celebrated “World Hypertension day”. This day was initiated by the “World Hypertension League” with the aim of raising awareness about hypertension. Advanced Institute of Pharmacy did a effort to spread the awareness about hypertension “a silent killer”.
The Program was started with the presentation of Mrs. Khushboo Gupta, Associate Professor explaining about Hypertension causes, symptoms and prevention. Dr. Arpana Rana, Principal also explained about the health issues arising due to hypertension. Students of Pharmacy actively participated in the slogan writing activity.
A google form based survey was also done by the students. The activity was co-ordinated by Ms. Shivali Rahi. Students gone to staff members of Advanced Educational Institutions and explained about the condition, symptoms, Do & Don’t for prevention of hypertension. A Group discussion was also conducted under the supervision of Mr. Anil, Mrs. Rajkiran, Mrs. Ramlesh of Pharmacology department. All the staff members of Advanced Institute of Pharmacy were present.
The Pharmaceutical Industries discover, develop, produce, and market the drugs which are used as medications for the patients. Advanced Institute of Pharmacy believe in upgrading the students about the industrial profession and to provide the knowledge of new and modern techniques employed in the Industries.
The industrial visit was carried out at Torrento labs Pvt Ltd. (MS Remedies labs), Roorkee, Uttarakhand for Pharmacy students on 7th May, 2022. Torrento deals with Allopathic, Ayurvedic, Unani-Siddha, Homeopathic, Herbal Cosmetics, Food & Nutraceuticals, Cattle & Poultry Feed Supplements. Students were available to see the detailed preparation and methodology. It was very insightful & educational experience.
To understand the functioning of real world, students of Management Department visited Mother Dairy plant today.

Prof. Tomar Vice Chancellor addressed at Advanced College on Technology Day
Prof. S.K. Tomar, Vice Chancellor, JC BOSE University YMCA, Faridabad addressed students and faculty members of Advanced Institute of Technology and Management on the occasion of National Technology Day celebration, which was organized at Advanced Institute of Technology and Management on Wednesday, 11th May, 2022. Prof. Tomar has told that we are living in the era of globalization and technology has played a major role in this. Students should focus on start ups, new inventions, and latest technologies so that the path to achieve their goals will be uncomplicated.
India has carried out five nuclear tests at Pokhran on 11th and 13th May, 1998 and since then 11th May is being celebrated as National Technology Day.
The celebration was started with lightening of the lamp to Goddess Saraswati by Dr. S.K Tomar, Sh. Sanjeev Chandra, , Sh. Parveen Ramdass, Dr. Anurag Gaur, Dr. Jawahar Lal, and Dr. R. R. Pandey.
The National Technology Day celebration was organized by Advanced Institute of Technology and Management in association with Vigyan Bharati, Haryana. Program was organized under the leadership of Dr. R.R Pandey, Principal, AITM. Dr. Neha Arya, HOD, Management department was convener of the program.
Chairman of the Institution, Sh. Sanjeev Chandra said the purpose of the event is to promote the advancement of science and technology by providing the right platform for research and innovation to students. He further added that to fulfill this purpose, Advanced Institute of Technology & Management has tried to provide one of the most advanced computer systems in the laboratory of the campus.
Dr. R.R. Pandey, Principal AITM highlighted that the modern technology is changing day by day, making it much better with every new technique. Technologies are serving human beings and other living beings to a great extent.
The audience was thrilled on seeing Dr. Anurag Gaur, Associate Professor, JC BOSE University, YMCA, Faridabad on the stage. In addition to the above, eminent speakers, including, Sh. Parveen Ramdass, Dr. Jawahar Lal delivered talks dealing with latest developments in technology.
Dr. Anurag Gaur stressed that technology has the power to change the whole society. Dr. R. R. Pandey, Principal, AITM, Dr. Laxmi Sharma, Principal, AIE, Dr. Arpana Rana, Principal AIP, all HODs, Ms. Divya Verma, Registrar, Administrator Officer, Sh. Naveen Gupta, faculty members, Teachers and Students of AITM, were present in the program. The program was ended by vote of thanks given by H.O.D Management Dr. Neha Arya.

Curricular and co-curricular activities are the most important part of a student’s life. Other than academics, our Institute also focuses on overall development of the students. Keeping this in view, Advanced Institute of Education organized the two days inter-college Edufest,”SRIJAN-2022” ON 28TH & 29TH April,2022.The Institute was a witness of the myriads of activities that was conducted. Various inter-college competitions were held to mark the occasion. Whether it was the melodious solo song, solo dance, Prepaing teaching aids or working models, skill in teaching, Pot decoration, and best out of waste, quiz, rangoli making or poster making, the activities helped to bring out their individual and creative talents.
The fest was started with the lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana.The inaugural address for the event was delivered by Prof.Laxmi Sharma, Principal, AIE.
Chairman Mr.Sanjeev Chandra also emphasized the importance of such events and said that such activities helped to bring out the uniqueness of each individual. His words were quite motivating and strengthening for students and staff members.
The first day saw an enthusiastic participation from the students and their energy was visible in the various activities .Day 2 of the inter-college Edufest was unfurled with the arrival of the Chief Guest Mr. Atul Mangla.He addressed the audience and motivated the students. He further appreciated the efforts of AIE for conducting such events. Mr. Dinesh Gupta, secretary, Agarwal Public School was the guest of honour. He graces the occasion with his presence and blessed the participants.
Performances of the students left everyone awe struck as they presented their talent so immaculately & effortlessly. More than 180 students participated from 16 different colleges. They were applauded for their performances. Winners were awarded and all the participants were given certificates. Aggarwal college of Education, Ballabhgarh won the overall trophy. Vote of thanks was given by Madhu Hanss, Assistant Professor, Advanced Institute of Education.
