Parents should see that their wards do not absent themselves from school expect under unavoidable circumstances. If a pupil is to absent himself from school, application for leave must be made and sanction obtained prior to absence. Leave is not granted except on written application from parents. In case of absence due to sickness or other emergencies a leave letter must be sent to the school on the first day of presence. ATTENDANCE
Absence on the opening day is not allowed.Absence on the re-opening day may lead to the removal of the pupil’s name from the roll.Re-admission may be consideres by the principal on the merit in each case. Except those pupils who have permission to go home for lunch. No other pupil will be allowed to leave the school during school hours. No half a day leave or permission during school hours will be granted except in case of an emergency that too at the discretion of the principal. A written reuest from the parent is necessary in such cases. Students who take leave for more than three days have to submit an explanatory letter to the principal written by the parent / guardian. Leave on medical grounds should be supported by a proper medical certificate. A minimum of 90% attendance is required for promotion to the next higher class. Irregular attendance and prolonged absence will lead to removal of name the rolls. Pupils suffering from infectious disease,will not be permitted to attend the classes. Pupils who have not paid the term fees will not be allowed to the terminal Examinations. CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE:
Every pupil is expected to be polite and courteous. Bad behaviour and use of foul language may result in expulsion of the student. Insubordination to school authorities / teachers and any kind of cheating or serious misconduct or objectionable habit are sufficient reasons for punishment and dismissal from the school. UNIFORM:
It is the duty of the parents to ensure that their wards come to school neatly dressed. Each pupil is expected to possess at least three sets of regular uniform
It is compulsory for the pupil to wear a clean uniform to school and school functions. Habitual defaulters in matters of uniform will be punished. FEES PAYMENT
School fees, bus fees and mess fees for the academic year 2013-2014 should be paid in three instalments. Term - 1 by the 10th of June
Term - 2 by the 10th of October

Younger siblings studying in the school who enjoy a concession in the fees will have to pay the fees in full if not paid before the due date. IF THE FEE IS NOT PAID WITHIN A MONTH OF THE DUE DATE ALONG WITH THE FINE AS APPLICABLE, THE CHILD’S NAME WILL BE SUMMARILY REMOVED FROM THE ROLLS OF THE SCHOOL. Students who happen to be removed from the rolls of the school (for any valid reason) may apply for re-admission to the school. However the school has the right to deny such re-admission. ACADEMIC WORK:
Stdents must carry out all assignment-class work as well as home work-regularly and punctually. Every student should note down the summary of all the assignments given on a particular day in his / her diary. Parents should see that their wards do these assignments as required. Books must be labelled and kept neat. Margins should be drawn in note books and every written work must be dated. Assignments must be submitted punctually for correction. Students are free to approach their subject teachers for academic help whenever they are free, within the school hours. HOWEVER, THEY ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM ENGAGING THE TEACHERS OF THIS SCHOOL FOR PRIVATE TUITION AT HOME. EXAMINATIONS:
A student must secure an average of 40% in each subject in the various examinations conducted throughout the year and 40% in every subject in the Annual examination to ensure promotion. The school will not hold any special test or examination or practical examination for absentees. They have to forego their rank and average. Results declared at the end of the year are final in all respect and will not be reconsidered under ant circumstances. A student who fails twice in the same class will not be allowed to continue his/her studies in the school. A student will not be permitted to continue in this school if repeatedly detained in each class or every alternative year. Progress report will be sent to the parents after every examination. It should be signed and returned within three days. VISITING TIME:
Parents are welcome to visit the school to discuss the progress and problems of their children with the teachers between 9-00a.m. and 12-00 noon on Saturdays only.Any meeting with the principal must be made on prior appoinment. TRANSFER CERTIFICATE:
Application for TC must be submitted before march 31st. If application for TC is submitted after march 31st it will be issued only after the payment of the 1st term fees of the following academic year. Application for transfer cartificate should be made in writing by the parent/Guardian. Transfer certificate will be given only to the parent/Guardian. In cases where the parents get transferred, issue of TC will be favourably considered provided a copy of the transfer order is submitted.
“The authorities may frame and issue from time to time discuplinary rules of permanent or temporary character, regulating the conduct of the students within the campus and outside, as far as such rules seem necessary to maintain the usefulness and reputation of the institution. The student has to abide by these rules.”
GENERAL:
Pupils are responsible for the safety of their own belongings. The school cannot assume any responsibility for the loss of the pupils belongings and ornaments. Writing or scribbling on the walls or furniture and damage of any school property are forbidden. The class will be penalized collectively if the culprits are not found out. Chewing gum and stickering are strictly forbidden in the school premises. Change of address of the pupil if any, should be intimated to the school office immediately. Pupils are expected to take part in all the co-curricular activities of the school. No one will be exempted except for legitimate reasons, which has to be approved by the principal. Parents are requested to make all remittances directly at the office counter. The school cannot assume any responsibility for the loss of cash if handed over to any employee. Students are prohibited from bringing their personal magazines or story book or any valuable things to school. Parents are requested to respond to the invitation from the school for all public functions.
