Grade 1 students from TIPS embarked on an engaging adventure on 27th February 2025 to a sericulture farm, where they discovered the complex process of sericulture, encompassing the entire life cycle of silkworms and the skilled craft of silk production. Through hands-on learning and expert guidance, students explored the intriguing world of sericulture, uncovering the compelling narrative behind the creation of silk, which relies on the small insects responsible for its production.

Using colorful clay, students crafted their own unique creations. This tactile activity helped develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity and self-expression. Our Grade 4 students had an amazing robotics lesson with the LEGO Education Kit on February 25, 2025! Using LEGO NXT, they experimented with the Touch-Me-Not Bot concept and created an Express Bot.They were able to design their bots to precisely move and respond to obstacles by investigating the capabilities of the touch sensor. On 7 March 2025, our Grade 3 students had a thoroughly enjoyable experience during Session 8 with LEGO Education. A team designed and constructed their own Balloon Car, investigating how airflow direction affects motion. The young engineers displayed exceptional talent and skill through creative and collaborative efforts, enjoying the process of experimenting with their innovative designs. TIPS Tirupur, On March 10, 2025, our Grade 5 students had an exciting hands-on robotics session! Using Tinkercad, they designed and built an Obstacle Avoider Robot with an IR Sensor.This robot uses infrared sensors to detect obstacles in its path and smartly navigate around them, ensuring smooth movement without collisions. Our young innovators successfully programmed it using block-based coding and achieved a fully functional output!Their enthusiasm, creativity, and problem-solving skills made this session both fun and educational, reinforcing key STEM concepts.
