Tiny Hands, Tasty Plans!

Last Saturday at Sunrise English Medium School, our Pre-Primary children delighted everyone with their joyful participation in the Fireless Cooking Activity.

With bright eyes and even brighter smiles, our little ones mixed, arranged, and served simple dishes under gentle guidance. It was heart-warming to see such young learners practice neatness, sharing, patience, and healthy food habits—values that schools have always nurtured and always should.

No flames, no pressure—just pure fun, confidence, and learning the old-fashioned way: by doing. And honestly… who could resist those smiles?

Little Chefs, Big Smiles!

Last Saturday at Sunrise English Medium School, our campus turned into a hub of creativity and confidence as students from Class 1 to 10 enthusiastically took part in the Fireless Cooking Activity.

From colorful fruit salads to thoughtfully assembled snacks, our young chefs proved that learning doesn’t always need a flame, just curiosity, care, and a pinch of teamwork!
More than recipes, the day served lessons in life skills, hygiene, nutrition, and independence, the kind of learning that has stood the test of time and always will.

No fire, no fuss… just fresh ideas and proud smiles. Who says tradition can’t be tasty?

When Hearts Act, Lessons Last: Teachers Celebrate Children’s Day at Sunrise English Medium School

Just as teachers eagerly await their special day, our students look forward to Children’s Day with the same spark in their eyes. And this year, we made sure that the spark glowed a little brighter. The teachers of Sunrise English Medium School stepped onto the stage, proving that chalk and blackboards aren’t their only talents.

They presented a thoughtful, lively drama that portrayed the life of an ideal student. Through scenes showing respectful interactions with parents, teachers, friends, and the larger society, the message was subtle yet strong: good values never go out of style. One could almost hear tradition nodding approvingly from the wings.
Adding to the joy, teachers sang heartfelt songs that filled the hall with warmth and laughter. The students, wide-eyed and delighted, seemed to enjoy watching their mentors trade lesson plans for performances. However, a few may still be wondering how their teachers suddenly became actors overnight!

The celebration reminded everyone that Children’s Day isn’t just about fun, it’s about shaping character, cherishing childhood, and honouring the bond between learners and guides.

Sunrise Stars Shine at Avantika International Competition!

We are thrilled to share that our talented students have brought glory to Sunrise English Medium School by showcasing their brilliance at the Avantika International Competition!

Their hard work and creativity were rewarded with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, along with Appreciation Trophies and the prestigious Saroj Trophies.

Each achievement is a shining example of dedication, discipline, and the never-give-up spirit that defines our Sunrise family.

A big congratulations to our young achievers, proud parents, and dedicated teachers for this remarkable success.

On 17th September 2025, the Giants Welfare Foundation and the Giants Club, Palitana, under their Giants Week celebrations, organised a Fancy Dress and Talent Show Competition for the students of Sunrise Schools. The programme aimed at encouraging creativity, confidence, and awareness among students.

For Classes 1 & 2, the theme was Helpers – Service to the Community. Children came dressed as doctors, soldiers, teachers, policemen, and lawyers, highlighting the importance of community service.

Students of Classes 3 to 5 showcased their patriotism in the Freedom Fighters theme. They depicted great leaders such as Savitribai Phule, Rani Laxmibai, Dr Rajendra Prasad and many more, inspiring everyone with their courage and contributions to the nation.

For Classes 6 to 10, a Talent Show was organised where students displayed a wide variety of skills, including singing, dancing, drama, and playing musical instruments. The performances were vibrant, energetic, and received loud applause from the audience.

The event was a grand success. It not only entertained but also educated students about social service and India’s glorious history.
