Rhenock Constituency in Pakyong District celebrated the 80th Independence Day with a constituency-level event organized by the Independence Day Celebration Committee (IDCC), Rhenock Constituency, at Government Senior Secondary School, Mamring. The event featured Chief Guest Mr. Bishnu Kumar Khatiwada, Advisor to the Chief Minister, and Guest of Honour Mrs. Prabha Pradhan, Zilla Upadhaksha of Pakyong District, alongside key officials including Chairman of the Sikkim Housing Board Mr. Karma Tashi Bhutia, OSD to MLA Mr. DB Chettri, IT Department OSD Mr. Bum Tshering Yonzon, State Lotteries OSD Mr. Santosh Pradhan, Pakyong BDO Mr. Sangay Tamang, Rhenock BDO Mr. Ram Kumar Gurung, and Confidential Assistant to the Chief Minister Mr. Urgen Lepcha. Pakyong, August 13 : Chief Minister and MLA Rhenock Constituency, Mr Prem Singh Tamang-Golay attended Independence Day Pre-Celebration and Football Semifinals at Government Senior Secondary School, Mamring, today. The tournament is being organised by the Independence Day Celebration Committee (IDCC), Rhenock Constituency, as part of the celebrations marking the 80th Independence Day.

The 12th day of the Men's Open Intra-Sikkim Constituency Level Football Tournament was held today at the Mamring Senior Secondary School Ground in Rhenock. Organized by the IDCC Rhenock Sports Wing to commemorate the 80th Independence Day, the event was presided over by Chief Guest Shri Raju Basnet, Hon’ble Minister for the Education Department of Sikkim, alongside officials from the Pakyong Education Department and other esteemed dignitaries. As part of the ceremony, CBSE toppers from Mamring SSS and Amba SS were felicitated and rewarded by the Amba GPK.
