विद्यालयमा ३५औँ नेपाली भाषा मान्यता दिवस भव्य रूपमा सम्पन्न

विद्यालयमा आज ३४औँ नेपाली भाषा मान्यता दिवस–२०२६ अत्यन्त उत्साह, उमङ्ग र सांस्कृतिक गौरवका साथ मनाइयो।

कार्यक्रम कक्षा १२ का विद्यार्थीहरूद्वारा पूर्ण रूपमा आयोजना तथा सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो। नेपाली भाषा, साहित्य, संस्कृति र पहिचानको संरक्षण तथा प्रवर्द्धनको महत्त्वलाई उजागर गर्ने उद्देश्यले आयोजित यस कार्यक्रममा विद्यालयकी सम्माननीय प्रधानाचार्या डा. जगमाया छेत्री प्रमुख अतिथिका रूपमा उपस्थित हुनुहुन्थ्यो।

कार्यक्रममा विद्यार्थीहरूले आफ्नो प्रतिभा र सिर्जनात्मकता प्रस्तुत गर्दै नृत्य, सङ्गीत, कविता वाचन तथा विभिन्न विषयमा मन्तव्य प्रस्तुत गरे। विशेष रूपमा नेपाली भाषा आन्दोलनको इतिहास, नेपाली भाषाले पाएको संवैधानिक मान्यताको महत्त्व तथा नेपाली भाषा मान्यता दिवस मनाउनुको आवश्यकता जस्ता विषयमा विद्यार्थीहरूले प्रभावकारी विचारहरू प्रस्तुत गरे।

विद्यार्थीहरूको प्रतिभा, उत्साह र प्रस्तुतिले कार्यक्रमलाई ज्ञान, संस्कृति, सिर्जनशीलता र मौलिकताको सुन्दर संगम बनाएको थियो। सम्पूर्ण कार्यक्रम अत्यन्त सफल, आकर्षक तथा स्मरणीय रह्यो।

35th Nepali Bhasa Manyata Diwas Celebrated at School

Our school proudly celebrated the 34th Nepali Bhasa Manyata Diwas 2026 today with great enthusiasm and cultural pride.

The programme was thoughtfully organized and fully conducted by the students of Class XII, who came together to celebrate the recognition, heritage, and importance of the Nepali language. The programme was graced by our respected Principal, Dr. Jag Maya Chettri, as the Chief Guest.

The students showcased their remarkable talents through traditional dances, musical performances, poetry recitations, and insightful speeches. They also highlighted important themes such as the history of the Nepali Bhasa Andolan, the significance of Nepali language recognition, and the importance of preserving and promoting our language, literature, and cultural identity.

The programme was a wonderful blend of culture, creativity, knowledge, and youthful expression, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.

5 Minutes Every Friday – Safety for Life

“Safe Steps Towards a Safe School”

As part of the “5 Minutes Every Friday – Safety for Life: Safe Steps Towards a Safe School” initiative, a brief awareness session on earthquake safety and preparedness was conducted during the morning assembly.

Mr. Debendra Limboo, PGT Political Science nodal teacher for the Disaster Management of the school addressed the students and spoke about the importance of staying alert and prepared during an earthquake. The session was conducted as part of the initiative of the Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority (SSDMA).

The session primarily focused on the essential earthquake safety technique “Drop, Cover and Hold On.” Students were guided on how to protect themselves during an earthquake by immediately dropping to the ground, taking cover under a sturdy object or protecting their head and neck, and holding on until the shaking stops.

The five-minute session was a simple yet meaningful reminder that awareness, preparedness and the right response can save lives during disasters.

“सुरक्षित विद्यालयतर्फ सुरक्षित कदम”

“५ मिनेट हरेक शुक्रबार – जीवनका लागि सुरक्षा: सुरक्षित विद्यालयतर्फ सुरक्षित कदम” अभियानअन्तर्गत आज बिहानको प्रार्थना सभामा भूकम्पसम्बन्धी सुरक्षा तथा पूर्वतयारीबारे संक्षिप्त सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गरियो।

कार्यक्रममा श्री देवेन्द्र लिम्बू, PGT (राजनीतिशास्त्र)ले विद्यार्थीहरूलाई भूकम्पको समयमा अपनाउनुपर्ने सावधानी तथा सुरक्षित व्यवहारबारे जानकारी गराउनुभयो। उक्त सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रम सिक्किम राज्य विपद् व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण (SSDMA) को पहलअन्तर्गत सञ्चालन गरिएको थियो।

कार्यक्रममा विशेष रूपमा भूकम्पका बेला अपनाउनुपर्ने “Drop, Cover and Hold On” (झुक्नु, सुरक्षित स्थानमा छोपिनु र समातिरहनु) प्रविधिबारे जानकारी दिइयो। विद्यार्थीहरूलाई भूकम्पको कम्पन महसुस हुनेबित्तिकै जमिनमा झुक्ने, बलियो टेबल वा अन्य सुरक्षित संरचनामुनि गई आफ्नो टाउको र घाँटीलाई सुरक्षित राख्ने तथा कम्पन नरोकिएसम्म उक्त संरचनालाई समातिरहने तरिकाबारे व्यावहारिक रूपमा बुझाइयो।

केवल पाँच मिनेटको यस सचेतनामूलक कार्यक्रमले विपद्को समयमा सही जानकारी, पूर्वतयारी र उचित प्रतिक्रिया नै जीवन रक्षाका महत्वपूर्ण आधार हुन् भन्ने सन्देश दिएको छ।

प्राथमिक तहको भित्तेपत्रिका अद्यावधिक : नेपाली भाषा मान्यता दिवस

भाषा आन्दोलनका वीरहरूको त्याग र योगदानप्रति सम्मान

नेपाली भाषालाई भारतको संविधानको आठौँ अनुसूचीमा समावेश गराउन महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निर्वाह गर्ने भाषा आन्दोलनका वीरहरूको त्याग, संघर्ष र योगदान सम्पूर्ण नेपाली समुदायले जान्न आवश्यक छ। यही उद्देश्यका साथ बालबालिकामा नेपाली भाषाप्रति प्रेम, गर्व र सम्मानको भावना विकास गर्न तथा यसको महत्त्वबारे जानकारी गराउन विद्यालयका प्राथमिक तहका भित्तेपत्रिकाहरू नेपाली भाषा मान्यता दिवससम्बन्धी तस्बिर, तथ्य तथा जानकारीमूलक सामग्रीहरूले सजाइएको छ।

यस पहलमार्फत बालबालिकाले नेपाली भाषाको समृद्ध इतिहास, पहिचान र महत्त्वबारे जानकारी प्राप्त गर्नुका साथै भारतको संविधानद्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त भाषाहरूमध्ये नेपाली भाषा पनि एक हो भन्ने कुरा सिकिरहेका छन्। साथै, हाम्रो संस्कृति, पहिचान, सञ्चार तथा दैनिक जीवनमा नेपाली भाषाले खेलेको महत्वपूर्ण भूमिकाबारे पनि उनीहरूलाई बुझ्ने अवसर प्राप्त भएको छ।

यो सिर्जनात्मक तथा ज्ञानमूलक गतिविधिले नेपाली भाषालाई संवैधानिक मान्यता दिलाउन गरिएको ऐतिहासिक संघर्ष र उपलब्धिलाई स्मरण गराउनुका साथै नयाँ पुस्तामा नेपाली भाषाको संरक्षण, संवर्द्धन र सम्मान गर्ने भावना विकास गर्न महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्‍याएको छ।

भाषा हाम्रो पहिचान हो, यसको संरक्षण हाम्रो जिम्मेवारी हो।

Honouring the Sacrifice of the Bhasa Andolan

To commemorate the sacrifices and struggles of those who contributed to the Nepali Bhasa Andolan, which ultimately led to the inclusion of Nepali in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India, our Primary School Wall Magazines have been thoughtfully decorated with photographs, facts, and informative content highlighting the significance of Nepali Bhasa Manyata Diwas.

The initiative aims to introduce young learners to the rich history, identity, and importance of the Nepali language and to nurture a sense of love, pride, and respect for their mother tongue. Through these colourful and educational wall magazines, children are learning about Nepali as one of the constitutionally recognised languages of India and understanding the valuable role it plays in our culture, communication, and everyday lives.

This creative learning activity not only celebrates the historic achievement of Nepali language recognition but also encourages the younger generation to preserve, respect, and carry forward the legacy of the Nepali language for generations to come.

Awareness Programme on the Routes of Transmission and Prevention of HIV/AIDS in the Morning Assembly

The Red Ribbon Club of School, organised an awareness programme on the Routes of Transmission and Prevention of HIV/AIDS. The programme aimed to educate students and staff about HIV/AIDS, with a particular focus on its modes of transmission and effective prevention strategies.

During the programme, Peer Educator Mr. Nischey S***a delivered an informative and engaging awareness speech, highlighting the importance of accurate knowledge, prevention, and responsible behaviour in combating HIV/AIDS.

The session was informative and meaningful, helping to dispel misconceptions and promote greater awareness about HIV/AIDS and the importance of prevention.

The programme concluded with a strong message that awareness, knowledge, and responsible choices are key to preventing HIV/AIDS and building a healthy and informed community.

प्रातःकालीन सभामा एचआईभी/एड्सको सङ्क्रमणका मार्ग तथा रोकथामसम्बन्धी सचेतना कार्यक्रम

विद्यालयको रेड रिबन क्लबको आयोजनामा एचआईभी/एड्सको सङ्क्रमणका मार्ग तथा यसको रोकथामका उपायहरूबारे सचेतना कार्यक्रम सञ्चालन गरियो। कार्यक्रमको मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थी तथा शिक्षक–कर्मचारीहरूलाई एचआईभी/एड्ससम्बन्धी आवश्यक जानकारी प्रदान गर्नुका साथै यसको सङ्क्रमण हुने तरिका र प्रभावकारी रोकथामका उपायहरूबारे सचेत गराउनु थियो।

कार्यक्रमका क्रममा विद्यालयकी पियर एजुकेटर निश्चे सुब्बाले एचआईभी/एड्ससम्बन्धी जानकारीमूलक तथा प्रभावकारी सचेतनामूलक मन्तव्य प्रस्तुत गर्नुभयो। उहाँले एचआईभी/एड्सबाट बच्न सही जानकारी, रोकथामका उपाय तथा जिम्मेवार व्यवहारको महत्त्वबारे प्रकाश पार्नुभयो।

कार्यक्रम अत्यन्तै जानकारीमूलक तथा अर्थपूर्ण रह्यो। यसले एचआईभी/एड्ससम्बन्धी विद्यमान भ्रम तथा गलत धारणाहरू हटाउन सहयोग गर्नुका साथै विद्यार्थी तथा कर्मचारीहरूमा यसको रोकथाम र सचेतनाबारे अझ बढी ज्ञान अभिवृद्धि गर्न महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्यो।

कार्यक्रमको अन्त्यमा सचेतना, सही ज्ञान र जिम्मेवार व्यवहार नै एचआईभी/एड्सको रोकथाम तथा स्वस्थ र सचेत समुदाय निर्माणका प्रमुख आधार हुन् भन्ने सन्देश प्रदान गरियो।

Class xii Star of the Month Ceremony for the Month of July

Ms.Reepjung Lepcha, the Star of the Month for july from Class XII, formally handed over the responsibility and recognition to Ms. Soniya S***a, the Star of the Month for July, and extended her best wishes for her continued success.

The Star of the Month is an initiative undertaken by the class xii to motivate and inspire students towards achieving 100% attendance, as well as to enhance their overall academic and co-curricular performance. The primary eligibility criterion for nomination is that a student must have maintained 100% attendance during the respective month.

The nominated students are evaluated by all subject teachers based on specific criteria, including class participation, completion of homework, behaviour, effort, and overall improvement. Each teacher awards stars to the nominated students according to their performance in these areas.

Based on the cumulative merit of the stars awarded by all subject teachers, the Star of the Month is selected. This initiative encourages students to strive for excellence and maintain consistency in their academic journey as well as personal development.

Pre-Independence Day Programme | Primary Section

Today, Primary Section presented a heartfelt Pre-Independence Day Programme, beautifully blending patriotism, emotion, and pride. Our little stars captivated the audience with a vibrant dance performance and a powerful skit depicting the Pulwama attack in Jammu & Kashmir.

The skit, particularly its poignant ending, left the audience deeply moved and gave everyone goosebumps. Watching our young children portray such a sensitive chapter with sincerity, confidence, and emotion was truly a proud and touching moment for everyone present.

A heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated Primary teachers for their unwavering guidance, mentoring, creativity, and countless efforts in preparing our young performers and bringing this meaningful programme to life.

Their performance reminded us that patriotism is not merely about remembering history—it is about understanding sacrifice, valuing peace, and carrying the spirit of the nation in our hearts.

A truly proud and memorable moment for the Primary Section! 🇮🇳
