🇮🇳 80th Independence Day Celebration 🇮🇳

Daring Lingzey Primary School, Namcheybong Block, Pakyong District proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The celebration was attended by our teachers, parents, community members, Ward Panchayat Shri Dathup Bhutia, and retired Army personnel Shri Anand Rai.

The programme began with the flag hoisting,followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and love for our nation. Our children also presented beautiful patriotic songs, expressing their respect and devotion towards the country.

The celebration continued with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony and distribution of sweets among the children and everyone present. The day became a memorable occasion of unity, patriotism, togetherness and respect for our nation.

Heartfelt thanks to all the parents, community members and special guests for joining us and making the celebration meaningful and memorable.

As part of the morning assembly, the students and staff of Government Primary School, Daring Lingzey proudly sang "Vande Mataram", the National Song of India, followed by the National Anthem, "Jana Gana Mana."

After the singing, teachers explained the significance of Vande Mataram, highlighting its historical importance in India's freedom movement and how it expresses love, respect, and devotion towards our motherland. Students were encouraged to uphold the values of patriotism, unity, and national pride in their daily lives.

Purpose of Visit
To monitor the implementation of the Learning Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026 at Government Primary School, Daring Lingzey.

Observations
The officers observed classroom teaching, student learning activities, and various task-based learning practices being carried out by the teachers. They interacted closely with both teachers and students, and appreciated the school's efforts in implementing child-centred and activity-based teaching methods under the LEP.

Feedback and Guidance
The officers shared encouraging and positive feedback regarding the school's commitment to improving learning outcomes. They also provided valuable suggestions and guidance to further strengthen the effective implementation of the programme.

Today on 4/8/2026 Tithi Bhoj was generously sponsored by our dedicated school staff members, Ms. Bindhya Rai and Mr. Biswas Rai , for the students and staff of Government Primary School, Daring Lingzey.

The delicious menu included chicken, rice, dal, mixed vegetables, dried fry, papad, snacks, fresh fruits, sweets, tea, and biscuits. The nutritious and delightful meal brought smiles 🥰to everyone's faces and created a joyful atmosphere in the school.❤️
