# The plastic freedom challenge 2026
PLASTIC FREE SCHOOL _CLEAN AND GREEN SCHOOL.
A plastic free challenge was organised in our school to create awareness among students and staff about the harmful effects of plastic on the environment.The program aimed to encourage everyone to reduce the use of single use plastics and adopt eco_friendly alternatives. Students and teachers were encouraged to bring reusable water bottles, lunch boxes and cloth bags instead of disposable plastic items. The plastic free challenge created greater awareness among students about the importance of reducing plastic waste .Students understood that small changes in daily habits can contribute significantly to environmental conservation. The activities also encouraged teamwork, responsibility and eco_ friendly practices. The plastic free challenge was a meaningful initiative towards creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable school environment. The school community pledged to continue reducing plastic use and inspiring others to protect nature.

Food production students prepared veg manchurian under the guidance of Food production teacher Mr.Dinesh Sharma

Veg Manchurian was invented in 1975 by chef Nelson Wang at the Cricket Club of India (CCI) in Mumbai. Asked to improvise a new dish, Wang combined an Indian base of chopped ginger, garlic, and green chilies with soy sauce instead of Indian spices, creating the foundation for Indo-Chinese cuisine, which was later adapted into vegetarian minced-veg balls.
