Turmeric is used as a natural indicator. It is added to the solution to determine its acidity and basicity. The turmeric is acidic in nature and it is yellow in color. ... When turmeric paste is added to the basic solution the yellow color changes to red color due to the neutralization reaction.

Student of class 8 - Vanshika sen doing an experiment to show that air is essential for burning.

Conclusions from this experiment -
a) The candle 🕯️ burns freely in case 1 when air can enter the glass from below .
b) When air does not enter the glass from the bottom the flame flickers and produces smoke.
c) The flame finally goes off because the air is not available.
Hence, oxygen is necessary for burning.

Conclusion from this experiment - Yeast reproduces rapidly and produces carbon dioxide during respiration.Bubbles of the gas fill the dough and increase its volume. That makes it spongy and fluffy.
It is used in baking industry for making bread, pastries and cakes.
