For a long period I was an uneasy observer of the moral decay of our society. I felt the need to revive this decaying society by imparting true education and building up ideal citizen to uplift our country so that"Bharat abar jagat sabhai shreshtho asan lobe" Onday I express my desire of establishing an institution to my equal minded energetic and confident friends circle.They immediately accepted
the proposal. The dream came true Kaliachak Abasik Mission started its journey towards perfection on the auspicious 6th April 2005. We have already left 8 years behind us and by the grace of the Almighty stepped on to the 9th year with almost success. Today I can assert that we have attained a significant position in our state in so for as results are concerned though our selfless and tiredless diligence. Still complacency is alien to us. We have to proceed as we have a long way to go. Dreaming and running after it to materialise is the key of success in life. Our duty is to throw golden light on the minds of the students full of dreams. Not only that, discipline,punctuality and truthfulness are also essentially associated with a human being. Our teachers,the authority have dedicated lives in helping the students to achieve all-round development with all sorts of latest modern teaching learning facilities. I cannot help thanking the guardians and social well-wisher who have extended their helping hands by always standing by advising and entrusting us in bringing up the students. Hope they will be by us all the time in future. Now I like to take the priviledge to throw some light on the inner lay-out of Kaliachak Abasik Mission. At present about 280 students are studying here. Out of them 40% students starting from v to xii (only science stream) are studying here enjoying free, half free or quarter free ship. We are trying to make arrangements for giving stipend to the poor but meritorious students. This year also our Madhyamik and H.S examinees have achieved spectacular result. We are fortunate to get a team of more than 30 young, energetic,dedicated teachers who have taken their service very serously along with 8 non-teaching employees. In a word, the Abasik has become a big family. We have set up a science laboratory to meet up the needs of the students. We have also taken up plans to set up a library, a prayer hall etc. But economic stringency is standing in our way. It is indeed a herculean task. But we are determined to achieve our goal because we know "Where there is a will, there is a way". I firmly believe that with the unstained support and blessings from the well- wisher we will win over our short-comings and problems very soon.
