STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL 2020... WELCOME ALL

A Debate Club initiative of Department of English, Gour Mahavidyalaya, held on 24.12.2019.
The topic of the debate was 'Death penalty is not deterrent against R**e'.
Our students of first year made us proud by their logical and reasonable attitude which faculties are even neglected by a large number of 'non-reactionery' people of contemporary India.From their discussion we get the following basic points:
1.Society fails to provide Safety for women.

2.Patriarchy in our very personal space is the origin of R**e-culture.So, we need to resist patriarchy in each personal space.

3. The compulsory death penalty will certainly decrease the chances of survival of the R**e victim.

4.Gender sensitization is the sole way to prevent R**e.
