All India Ideal Teachers Association - AIITA

All India Ideal Teachers Association (AIITA) members elected *Mr. Abdul Rahim Shaikh* as *National President* for the term from 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2028.

At the end of the four year term of AIITA the NATIONAL ELECTIONS of *National President and State President* held on 26 December 2024, Ninety Six (96) State Advisory Council (SAC) members from 13 states and representative of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind elected Mr. Shaikh Abdul Rahim Sahab as National President with majority votes.

After the election of the National President, the Presidents of the 13 States were elected and the Secretaries were appointed by the Advisory Council members of the said States. On the second day, 27 December 2024, the Central Council members appointed the central office bearers through mutual consultation and consensus. According to which the central office bearers for the next term 2025-2028 will be as follows.

National President: Shaikh Abdul Rahim (Maharashtra)

General Secretary: Mukhtar Ahmed Kotwal (Karnataka)

Vice President: Dr. Ayatollah Farooq (West Bengal)
Vice President: Abdul Qadir (New Delhi)

*Central Secretaries:*
Shakeel Ahmed (Uttar Pradesh)
Khalid Iqbal (Jharkhand)
Syed Arif Ali (Telangana)
Aslam Feroze (Maharashtra)
Anees Ahmed (Tamil Nadu)

*Finance Secretary:*
Dr Feroze Khan (Tamil Nadu)

*Media Secretary:* Faheem Ahmed Momin (Maharashtra)

*National Women Convenors:*
Ms. Firdous Sahiba (Andhra Pradesh)
Ms. Safia Anjum (Maharashtra)

The Central Council of AIITA will include the Presidents and Secretaries of all the states and representatives of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Hon'ble Inamur Rahman Sahab, Ms. Rehmat-Nisa Sahiba and nominated members of SIO, in addition to the above officials.
