IIHM Goa Celebrates International AI Day 2026 with a State-Level AI Conclave in association with the Directorate of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Goa,

Artificial Intelligence is no longer the future—it is the present. At IIHM Goa, we believe that preparing young minds for this transformation begins with education, innovation, and experiential learning.

The IIHM International AI Day 2026 – State-Level AI Conclave, organized in association with the Directorate of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Goa, brought together enthusiastic Higher Secondary students from across the state for an immersive journey into the world of Artificial Intelligence and its growing impact on hospitality and beyond.

The event was graced by Dr. Ajay R. Gaude, Director, Directorate of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of Goa, who inspired students to embrace innovation, continuous learning, and responsible use of emerging technologies.

Reflecting IIHM's global vision under the leadership of Dr. Suborno Bose, Founder & Chairman, IIHM, the conclave showcased pioneering initiatives such as NamAIste – IIHM HospitalityGPT, AI LEAP, and the Global Alliance for AI in Hospitality Education (GAIHEC), reinforcing IIHM's commitment to shaping the future of hospitality education through Artificial Intelligence.

The day featured exciting competitions including the AI Elocution Competition, AI Quiz Championship, AI Hospitality Innovation Challenge, and AI Hospitality Reel Competition, providing students with opportunities to showcase their creativity, innovation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Students also explored the power of NamAIste – IIHM HospitalityGPT and the suite of IIHM GPTs, discovering how AI is transforming learning, research, and hospitality education. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony celebrating the achievements of the participating students.
