A third season of our favourite dyslexic hero is coming soon!
Did you know, Rick Riordan made the character of Percy Jackson dyslexic and having ADHD to honor his own son, Haley, who was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD while struggling with reading in school.
Riordan originally invented the Percy Jackson story as a bedtime myth for his son, who loved Greek mythology.
To help his son feel proud and normal during a frustrating time of learning evaluations, Riordan made the main hero share those exact traits!
