Our Students from IVS School of Art & Design had an enriching visit to the Hettich Experience Centre, Lajpat Nagar, where they explored the latest innovations in furniture fittings, hardware solutions, and space optimization.

From smart storage systems and ergonomic designs to premium kitchen and wardrobe solutions, students experienced how thoughtful hardware enhances both functionality and aesthetics in modern interiors. The interactive demonstrations and expert insights helped bridge the gap between classroom concepts and real-world applications.

Lotus Temple Visit

Students of IVS School Of Design visited The Lotus Temple in New Delhi. They learnt about how landscape plays an important role in designing a structure. They were familiarised by climatology and its role in making a green and sustainable design. Along with construction techniques students were informed about Biomimicry and other design choices focused on highlighting the structure while keeping things functional.

Overall it was a new learning experience for budding designers.

Residential Site Visit โ€“ Praveen Thakur Residence
Students of IVS School Of Design visited the Praveen Thakur Residence, a residential project by mekan architecture The site visit provided valuable exposure to the practical aspects of residential architecture and interior design. The Lead Architect and the Client, Mr. Praveen Thakur, shared insights into the design process, material selection, space planning, and construction details.
