FDDI, School of Fashion Design students visited CHHAAP - NIFT organised by Ministry of Textiles at DILLI Haat, New Delhi on 10th September 2024 with faculty and staff members to view the displays of impressive India's Handloom and craft traditions.

Embark on an artistic journey! 🎨✨ Delve into the world of fashion illustration with Mr. Aditya Rai's workshop at FDDI Noida on 6th September 2024. Organised by FDDI School Of Fashion Design, under the guidance of subject faculty Mr. Saurabh Srivastava. attendees honed their craft in a myriad of techniques. From mastering watercolor, poster color, and pencil rendering to perfecting brush handling and directional lighting, every aspect of color vibrancy and shading was explored. Participants also delved into the intricacies of capturing facial expressions and body postures, enhancing their ability to bring fashion illustrations to life.

FDDI, School of Fashion Design, An Industrial visit was organized on 4th Sep 2024 for the students of Fashion Design to" Paragon Apparel Pvt Ltd.",Noida Phase - II to have insights and understanding of garment production process in Fashion Industry.

Mr. Rajesh kumar Sharma, Senior Faculty , School of Fashion Design participated in National level Exhibition " Mere Desh Ke Dhaage" held at Jamia Milia University, New Delhi on August 14. 2024. He was appreciated and awarded for creative potential in Weaving .
Exhibition is on display at M F Hussain art gallery from August 14 to 23, 2024.

FDDI, School of Fashion Design students backed First position by Somya & Divya Kumawat M.Des (FD) and Second position by Ritik and Rodali B.Des (FD) "Style your Saree Contest" at
National craft museum and Hastkala Academy association with "Tale of a Trend" on the topic "Hues of Heritage 2024" our many students participated and celebrated the spirit of Indian Handloom on 13 August 2024.

FDDI participated in 8th India International Footwear Fair 2024 with CIFI and ITPO at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi and showcased the products developed by students from 8th to 10th August 2024.

FDDI , School of Fashion Design Celebrated National Handloom day, to honour, enrich and respect the art of Handloom crafts and craftsman as a part of curriculum for training our students to learn and salute the handloom traditions and weavers, Indian Handloom sector with a display of few products made on Handlooms by students of School of Fashion Design
Using sustainable yarns Cotton, Wool, Silk, Jute and Bamboo such as Dari, India map Handwoven, Jute slipper, Woven wrist band, Dohar, Shawl, Table cloth, Cotton muffler, Woolen muffler, Indigo muffler,Table runner, Waist belt, Turban, Jute bags etc were exbitied.

Happy moment for FDDI , School of Fashion Design started M.Des Fashion Design 2024 and the First batch commenced on July 22nd and they are invited in a great way.We are extremely happy to announce that our School of Fashion Design Department is extended with the masters batch with bloom's and all wished them for new journey of enjoyment and learning.

FDDI, School of Fashion Design (FD) undergone an Online Faculty Development Program on ‘Artificial Intelligence on AI in Fashion’ from 1st to 9th July 2024 to equip faculty members with latest technology trends and their impact on industry and academia. Mr. Raj Rohit Shukla, Creative Head of Moksha Media Group was resource person of FDP with 17 years expertise in creative sector, worked with brands FCB Ulka, HCL Technologies, Lintas Group. He trained the faculty members with different aspects of AI and it role in fashion and future, during the 7-days program the faculty members worked on different verticals, applications of AI and project task to work on AI.

FDDI is proud to be part of the Nari Shakti Samaroh, celebrating the bravery of war widows, the strength of acid attack survivors, the courage of women in the armed forces, and the spirit of special children on the ramp. Together, we honor and empower through the National Fashion Show (Season 3) on 29th June 2024, Saturday @ 4 pm onwards.
