Students from Gaur International School visited ASCO & Media Studios to experience the world of journalism and digital media up close.

On April 10, 2026, Amity School of Communication hosted an engaging alumni masterclass featuring Mr. Rajat Sharma, Founder and CEO of ALP Productions. As a successful ASCO alumnus, Mr. Sharma shared his journey of building a production house from the ground up, starting in Chandigarh and expanding to Delhi.
The session focused heavily on the rapid evolution of influencer marketing and the massive monetization potential of YouTube in today’s economy. Beyond the success stories, he provided a much-needed reality check on the challenges of the content market. He addressed the issue of creators being exploited or underpaid, offering practical advice on how to value one’s work and negotiate fair compensation. By sharing his own experiences in running an ad agency, he provided the students with a clear roadmap on how to stand out in a saturated digital landscape.

There’s a certain kind of growth that doesn’t announce itself. It builds quietly—through effort, setbacks, and the courage to keep showing up.

“If you think a Journalism and Mass Communication degree is just about storytelling, you haven’t navigated our biometric system.
Between the 75% attendance rule and the daily Punch-In/Punch-Out hustle, Amity wasn’t just teaching us media—it was silently preparing us for the professional grind.

Surviving that level of discipline alongside a 50-page Master’s dissertation taught me that showing up is just as important as the work itself.

My time here taught me how to blend the creative, strategic, and analytical sides of communication. It wasn’t just about having a good idea; it was about making sure that idea actually worked in the real world.

Their constant guidance, encouragement and belief in me have been my strongest pillars throughout this journey. Their perspective and insights moved far beyond the classroom, giving me the kind of real-world knowledge that truly sharpened my professional voice.

I am stepping into the corporate world as a different and prepared individual with a degree in my hand and the discipline to deliver from day one.”
